As soon as school finished, I dashed over to CIRCLE. Glancing down at my phone, I knew I was running late, I would be super close to CIRCLE by now. Agh! I totally forgot about the basketball team meeting, I just hoped they weren't mad. On my way there, I thought about why they wanted to do a joint meet up. Maybe they were close friends, and they felt comfortable going together? Well, I hope I have a good time with them anyways.

I entered CIRCLE, and looked around for the two bands. "Hey, Marina, do you know where Afterglow and Roselia are?"

"Oh yeah, head on over to Studio 4, it's right down the hall," Marina replied. I thanked her and headed down to the fourth studio.

I took a deep breath and creaked open the door, cautious to not interrupt any practice that might be going on. "Hey guys, I'm here! Sorry I'm la-" my words stopped and I seized up at the sight bestowed upon me. It was the complete opposite from what I had expected.

"Obviously, your music doesn't match up to ours." Yukina said as she crossed her arms, rolling her eyes.

"It's not like yours is any better..." A girl with a black bob cut yelled. "So shut your mouth!" she growled, revealing the fiery streak of red across the right side of her hair. She paired up a turtleneck with a pair of short denim pants, slinging a loose black belt to go along with the outfit. Her black leather jacket added to her grunge aesthetic, further complimenting her red streak. Blended in the background were a few faces I didn't recognize, 'So they're Afterglow.' I thought to myself.

The two bands were arguing, and their other bandmates were desperately trying to stop them, but to no avail.

"Excuse me? Shouldn't you be doing that?" Yukina retorted, eyeing the black-hair girl.

"No! You should. Hearing your voice makes me want to throw up!" the black-haired girl glared back; her aura was immense, it was as if tiny fire spirits glowed in her eyes. I had to stop this before things would escalate even more.

"Hey, that's enough arguing! Both of you!" I shouted as I rushed over to their sides. It must have been effective, because the two immediately stopped arguing, instead they focused their attention on me. It was now awkwardly quiet, a total contrast to the chaos and yelling a few seconds ago. Thank goodness Studio 4 was soundproof.

"So uhm, you guys are Afterglow, right?" I asked, deciding to break the air.

The black-haired girl nodded. "Yeah, and you're (Y/N), right? Nice to meet you, I'm Ran Mitake, vocalist of Afterglow."

"Hello~ I'm Moca Aoba, guitarist of Afterglow~" A girl with short ivory blonde hair said, waving at me. Her outfit was the total opposite of Ran's, it looked so much more simple. She paired an oversized hoodie with some shorts and minimal accessories, not to mention, she seemed so much more relaxed and calm compared to Ran.

"Hey there~ I'm Himari Uehara, bassist of afterglow!" she said smiling. Again, her outfit aesthetic did not really fit in with the others, it was much more feminine. A long cropped wool sweater with a rounded neckline was paired with a high-waisted plaid skirt paired with her pale pink hair that was tied into low pigtails.

"Heyo! I'm the drummer of Afterglow, Tomoe Udagawa," a tall girl with long, red hair said. She wore a bodycon dress that hugged her figure nicely, using a wooly blue cardigan to layer the outfit. She looked the most mature out of all the others, just then a thought popped into my head, 'Udagawa..? Where have I heard that name before?'

"I'm Tsugumi Hazawa! Keyboardist of Afterglow! I hope we get along~" she said with a cute smile. She was definitely shorter compared to all the other girls, although she was roughly the same height as Ran. Her chestnut coloured hair made her brown plaid dress stand out more. I feel like I've heard of her somewhere. 'Hazawa, huh? That means she must own that coffee shop from the other day.'
