Kaori will be chained to a heavy boulder underwater with no way to escape as she sees the sharks around her breaking their cages (much like one of her performances), her oxygen leaving her as she tries so desperately to escape out of the chains. She ends up screaming underwater as the sharks break free from their cages and eat her up, leaving nothing but chains behind.

Before her execution, she gives Nagito her heart locket of the both of them inside it with the words 'Hope' engraved on the locket.

A bit of backstory:
-When younger, her parents would go on multiple business trips and would leave Kaori and her older siblings in the care of others; During that time, this is when Kaori would spend most nights in fear when thunderstorms would come around and she would have to go through her fear alone
