-At a young age, Melody's parents would put her in dance classes for her to get better at dancing; she was living in America at the time
-Once a preteen, she was put in advanced dance classes and ended up in the higher upper leagues; She also participated in musical activities at school; Her parents ended up being so busy with their jobs, they never went to any of her performances; This made Melody determined to do better to get their attention
-She also participated in competitions and was recognized by some companies from Japan, she then joined an idol group and became the lead pop idol known all over Japan; She moved to Japan and started goibg to middle school there
-She met the twins in middle school and started being friends with them from there
-She then joined the host club dueing high school that Tamaki had set up even though part of her thought it would be boring.... that is until she saw how fun it was
