Chapter 38: Death Threats
"Uuwi ka ng pinas o sasapukin kita pagbalik ko ng Australia?"
Today is thursday at ilang araw narin simula ng nagbakasyon si Mom at dad kasama ang buong angkan ng mga Lewis. Kausap ko ngayon si Ashton at kinukumbinsi siyang umuwi na ng Pilipinas at dito na magpagamot pero napaka kulit! Manang mana.
"Nandito ang trabaho ko Evie." He said, a smile plastered on my lips when I imagine him rolling his eyes.
"Pero your accepting a lots of clients here ash. Wag ka ngang ma eme!" I heard him chuckled pero Hindi na ako natutuwa sakanya.
I fake a cough and took a deep breath. "Don't you missed my cousin?" I said before smiling a little.
"Cousin? Sino ba dun? Dami mo Kayang pinsan." Damn! Kung nandirito lang itong si Ashton sa harap ko, malamang na sampolan na to sakin eh!
"Kahit ano pa yan evie, ayaw ko. My life is here, my passion is here." I rolled my eyes once again.
"Kailan ka pa naging mapagmahal sa trabaho ash? Wag mo nga akong niloloko—"
"Hindi naman kita niloloko, hindi naman ako si Maverick." He said then laugh hysterically.
"I swear Ashton naiinis nako! Umuwi ka na!" Nanahimik siya sa kabilang linya, this is a fuckin serious talk pero dinadala niya sa biro.
"May black Box nanamang hinatid sa tapat ng bahay mo, another death threat—-"
"Wala akong pakielam, araw araw akong nakakatanggap niyan. Umuwi ka na sa Pilipinas pagawan pa kita ng sarili mong firm basta umuwi ka lang!"
I ended the call, muntik ko na ngang maibato yung cellphone ko sa sobrang inis kay ashton. I need to do something about this, hindi pwedeng tutunganga lang ako.
Naiwan ako ngayon dito sa bahay namin dahil inilabas ni Maverick ang triplets, they actually want me to join them pero hindi na ako sumama dahil sa sobrang stressed ko kay ashton. They're probably around Cavite lang naman kaya hinayaan ko nalang sila mag Boys boding.
I went to our kitchen and drunk a whole bottle of water, i massage my temple before sitting on the island counter. I'm so stressed because of Ashton, it's been almost 4 days since im pursuing him to go back here in the Philippines.
I'm actually thinking twice if I should tell Jane about Ashton's condition but its not my story to tell, and for sure Ashton doesn't want to tell Jane about his condition too pero deserve ni Jane malaman yun.
Ashton is my bestfriend who's actually Like a Twin Brother while Jane is my dearest cousin and I love them both so much to the point na gusto ko gawin ang lahat para magkasama ulit silang dalawa.
I went to my room and took a bath, after that ay dumiretso ako sa closet room ko at naghanap ng matinong susuotin. Bakit ba kase napaka hilig kong mag crop top noon? I didnt even bring some of my usual clothes kapag nay work ako or trial. How dumb Evie!
Todo halungkat ako sa closet ko para maghanap ng pinaka mukang desente na pwedeng suotin dito. Not dress! Not High waistes shorts! Not tube! Damn Evie ganda talaga ng taste mo!
Sa kalagitnaan ng paghahalungkat at paghahanap ay tumawag na saakin si callious, for sure ay on the way na sila dito para sunduin ako. I already expected this since i entered law School, na balang araw ay puro si callious at Carlos ang makakasalumuha ko ng mas maraming beses kaysa sa iba ko pang mga pinsan. Hindi nga lang iyon nagkatotoo ng sa Australia ko napiling mag trabaho, but since na naririto na ako ay medyo masaya naman.
