The Next Morning

Sevyn's face was buried in Amari's chest when her alarm went off at 5am. She hurried to shut the alarm off before it woke him up and rolled over out of bed.
She went to the bathroom took a shower, and brushed her teeth. Then walked back in her room trying not to wake Amari cutting on her closet light to get dressed.
Sevyn walked over to the bed turned on the lamp that sat on the nightstand and looked at Amari sleeping peacefully. She kissed his lips "Mari" she spoke in his ear he sat up slowly
"Babe I gotta go to work, you could stay here and sleep if you want Sky is over Vaughn's house and Aiko is with Kamaro" she looked at him sitting up in bed reaching for his phone
"Nah I'ma leave wit you, I got work to do Dice actin' like he can't do shit without me" he yawned getting up "okay" Sevyn said as she bent down to put on her sneakers
"Don't be bending over in front of me like that unless you want some dick before work" he stood behind her rubbing against her
"Amariii no I can't be late, didn't you get enough yesterday and last night" she stood up once her sneakers were on
"Neva" he smacked her on the ass
Once she was dressed and ready in her scrubs she grabbed her supply bag and they made their way out the door. "I love you Phat Phat have a good day... don't kill nobody today" He kissed the side of her head
Sevyn laughed at his last comment "Boy please I'm one of the best nurses they got and I love you too Baby be safe" she said trying to rush off
Amari
Amari pulled up to his condo at 7:30am, no doubt about it he was exhausted from Sevyn keeping him up most of the night. He was getting some of the best sleep he had in weeks when she woke him up saying she had to go to work.
He really didn't want her to go, but he knew she wasn't going for that missing work shit. Amari got on the elevator going all the way up to the penthouse, his condo had the best view of the city and was decorated nicely too.
He walked in taking his sneakers and clothes off. Once he was down to his ethika boxer briefs and socks he laid face down in the bed. His phone vibrated it was a text from Sevyn

Amari smiled and put his phone on the charger. He sat up to grab a backwood to roll up, he smoked half the backwood before falling asleep. That's how tired he was Sevyn really wore him out.
Around noon time Amari dragged himself out the bed to complete his hygiene and start his day. He really didn't feel like getting dressed for the day, he threw on a black tee-shirt black jeans some green and black Jordans 1's and a few pieces from his jewelry collection. After getting dressed he pulled out his phone to check his messages

Amari read the text and frowned up his face disgusted, he didn't even reply to Tyra. He walked to the elevator got in it taking it down to the garage to get in his car. Once in his car he lit the rest of the blunt he didn't finish smoking earlier and started the car and pulled out his spot.
He pulled up to chipotle to get Sevyn a sofritas tofu bowl with everything on it for lunch because he was sure she didn't eat anything today. "That'll be $6.50 and your hair is so pretty" the young girl at the register said semi flirting with him. "Thank you" he said handing her a 10 dollar bill and grabbing the bag and walking out.
Amari parked his car got out walked into the hospital at the front desk "I'm here to drop off lunch for Nurse Sevyn Williams" he said to the security guard
The young woman looked at him and picked up the phone to call the floor Sevyn worked on "Hey Sevyn some guy is here dropping off lunch for you" she said
Amari looked at her like she was slow "Her MAN is dropping her lunch off" he corrected.
"Excuse me your MAN is here to drop off your lunch" the girl chuckled
"She said she's coming down now" the girl said to him but he told her he had to go just make sure she got it.

"Where is he Lilly" Sevyn asked walking over to the Chipotle bag "Girl ya MAN is mean as hell" Lilly laughed
"I know I like em like that, won't even haha you wild a bitch" Sevyn joked with Lilly
"Okay sis I heard that" she said clapping. "Byeeee Lilly" Sevyn walked away to the break room with her lunch
Once in the break room she pulled out her phone to call Amari

"Why you ain't wait for me, I wanted to see you"
"You ain't missin me like that" he chuckled
"Yea iight" she said
"Now you tryna sound like daddy" he chuckled even louder making him cough because he was smoking too
"I'ma turn back around, I'm tryna see sum"
"Nope it's too late now I only got 15 more minutes on break" she said
"I'm playin' me and Dice workin' so I'ma text you Mamas... I love you Phatz keep it wet for me" he joked
Sevyn heard Dice in the background "Ain't nobody tryna hear that shit!" He spat
"Nigga mind ya business, ion say shit when you talkin to that bald head girl" Amari fussed
"I love you too and that's always" she said once he heard that the call ended
Sevyn ate quickly and returned back to the floor with her 4 patients.
