ARAVIND'S POV

"Machan was it the same girl."

Akash was excited and shocked too.
She was really rude on him.

"Yup man!" He ignored him.

"How did she look??"
"Hoi. I'm her guardian  da."
I got posessive.. a bit..

"So what, tell about that girl."

"Which girl, beta?" Amma came from back. I was shocked.

"Ma, I said na; Savitri  mam  told to be her guardian. That girl." I stammered from inside, but covered it. Though she was my mom.

"Who is she?"
"Anamika. She's from  our Ashram  only."

"Really. I don't know any girl named Anamika.How was she looking? "

"Ma, not again ..." I said in a naughty voice.
"I'm your mom. Tell."

"Long, black thick hair till knees, big and shining eyes, bold voice and if she smiled even you will be mesmerised,ma." I said With a smile. She came before his eyes.

"Don't forget  me if you'll go behind her" patting my thighs.

"wait is she Amika? ?"

"I'm confused .REALLY.
Anita, Anamika, Amika. What a girl.
Every time new name" I sighed.

"I know, beta she's a very nice girl."

"Yeah. SO BEAUTIFUL. But a little arrogant." Said Imagining her.

"Beta, then what about me??" Amma said with a pout.

"Anyone after you ma. You are my first angel."I said With a smile.

"Bava, call her. Come on." Akash said. He tried to 'motivate' me.

"No way. Are you mad??"
"Just call and talk man."
Listening  to this person I called her.

First time she didn't  pick up. I tried thrice for the day. No response. My call was cut every single time.

Angrily  I looked at  my phone  and Akash

" What she will think of me Huh? My mistake. I shouldn't have listened to you."

And started  beating him.

ANAMIKA'S POV

"Really it was him!!!" Reva's eyes went wide.

"This is the 100th time you are asking Reva. If this line repeats even once then see what will happen." I said angrily. It was really irritating.

"OK so..." She asked curiously.
"So what??"

"What happened."
"What do you want Reva? ?" I asked her keeping my hands on my hip.
She won't end .

"How did he look?" She smiled mischievously.

"Why do you care??" My voice raised and turned to stove..

"Huh... say that again Amika .."

"Till now I had only one devil at my home. Now came the another." I said while I was cooking , making sounds of the ladle and kadhai.

"Somethings wrong."She said coming to me, with a naughty  smile.

"Say na how did he look."poking my forearm.

"Fine.. Handsome." I rolled my eyes gave a sigh.
"That's what I wanted." She got releived.

This girl is a pain..

"Will you go."  I said and the phone rang..

"Here calls your handsome devil.." She sang shaking the phone..

"Cut the call Reva, please."

Two days later while we left after lecture, he was there standing  near the banyan tree.

I just ignored as if the place was vacant.

"See, your handsome devil guardian's there. Look at him" Reva said teasing me. Why I don't  know.

I knew he was looking at me.

My phone rang. Surely it was him. The 10th time in the day . I got irritated  and went to him.

"This is the 10th  time you have called. I know it is for no reason. Next time if I get a call, that's it. I'm leaving you just because you have signed as a guardian  for me. Otherwise. .."

Before I could  say anything, he came a step forward, looked into my eyes and said

" otherwise what??"

"Your nose would be bleeding. "I pointed him and turned to leave.

Just then my hand was held and pulled by him.

I turned around clenching  my fists to punch him.
I turned  to punch him but....

Something  stopped me punching him.I looked at his eyes. So he did.
His face was too close to mine. I could feel his breath.  His grip on my hand loosened as he continued  to look at me.

Reva came running  towards me.

"Amika,hey." And she dragged me with her.
Though I went away, I turned and glared   at him .

"Amika are you an idiot. He's your guardian." Reva shouted at me at bus.

"Did he behave like a one? He did  like a barbarian" I gritted my teeth.

"Do YOU know what he did?"I said throwing my bag on the sofa.

"What did he do?" She stood at the door to remove shoes.

"He held my hand."
"So you went to punch him right." Reva said in loud voice.

"Yeah." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Then who stopped you ,Huh? " raising her eyebrows.

"You the idiot." I said  with a bottle in my hand.

"Excuse me,why did you stop before I dragged you?"

Valid question. I was silent.

"Answer my girl." She raised her eyebrows  questioning me.

"Something stopped me from doing so, yaar." I took a deep breath.

"It has started for you." She said from bathroom which echoed.

"Never think like that okay." I warned her.

'No this is not gonna happen. I will not fall for him. ANAMIKA, never think of him. He's not for you. No one is for you.'

My mind started ranting when Reva said that in  teasing tone.

'I was right. I behaved right. There is no wrong from my side. But why am I feeling something wrong. '

I sat thinking with my hand on my forehead.

While recollecting the scene , his sight on me was different from the one I saw on that day.

WAIT ...IS THERE  WHERE IT WENT WRONG??

'Amika, better stay away from him.
All men are one and the same.'
