It was 8:00 pm and I couldn't sleep so I just stayed in my room in silence. I hugged my legs and tried to be warm. It wasn't that cold and I had been sitting on my blanket but...

I looked over to my window, got up, and looked to Amy's house. It wasn't that far from our house. Her house had two floors like my house but I had an addict and she had a basement

The lights were still on and I heard laughing and cheering. I wanted? to text Amy but it was to late to do that and I would get in trouble. I took a breathe and decided to stop procrastinating. I covered muself in my warm blanket and tried to fall asleep.

I looked at the time and it was about to be 1 o'clock. My eyes were tired but my mind want at ease. I kept wonderding what was bothering Amy when she returned from the woods. It didn't make any sence to me

I turned my body over to right but it was all the same. The only difference was that I was thinking of someone else. 'Why Tails appear at that school? Me and Amy thought they had left to forest or to a city. If they did leave that would mean they wanted to come visit us. Or they simply had business to attend to here. Maybe they won't stay for us,' My eyes started to hurt so I shutted them but I still kept on thinking

I opened my eyes and I saw it was morning. Did I even sleep? I yawned and stretched my arms. I smiled and the chirping birds that were outside. I heard a noise in my bag I use for school and knew who it was. My little chao popped out and came to me for his every morning hug.

"Why hello there Cheese. How are you doing in this fine morning?" I laughed on how I said this. Cheese twirled in joy and lead me to the kitchen down stairs. I greeted my mother and went to the table where well baked pancakes were waiting for me. Chocola working together with my mother made the best pancakes

"Remember that your homework is at your desk," she said while making her own breakfast. I responded and kept on eating with Cheese and Chocola. I got dressed up, blue jeans, white shoes, a light blue shirt and over that an orange sweater, and stuck my head out of my balcony. I took a breather and grabbed my backpack. I shoved my homework inside and my other materials that I had token out last night and headed down stairs once more. I left backpack on the couch and went to the kitchen to wash my dishes.

It was time for me to leave the house and go Amy's. I walked to the door and remembered what heard last night. I was a bit confused and a bit hurt she didn't tell me anything. I knocked on her door and she came out in an instant. She looked desperate to get out of the house. "Well, would you look at the time! We're gonna be so late so it's best to get a move on now," she said as she quickly walked away from her house

"But it's 7:40," I said as I jogged a bit to catch up to her. "You can never be too early!" She stated

I giggled at her comments and continued walking beside her. We arrived at school and classes began as ussual. It was later in the day when I realized something was moving in my backpack. I took it by the handle and placed the bag on my lap. I opened it slowly, trying to take a peek inside, when suddenly a familiar chao popped out with the brightest smile I've ever seen

I gasped and was happy for a second but at the realization that I had broken one of the rules I paniced. It shoved Cheese inside and quikly asked if I could go to the restroom. Everyone was looking at me for my sudden question. 'I should have just said like a normal animal being,' I wanted to correct myself but the teacher already had have gave me a pass. I ran to the bathroom but I got the glances back when I took my backpack with me. I was embarrassed but I went to a stall and opened my backpack

'He must've got in while I was distracted,' I thought. He made some tricks and I couldn't help but laugh and smile. I hugged him and told him to?stay hidden since he couldn't fly all the way back home
