(Middle of the Night)
Rayla: Callum-!
Callum: *wakes up* Rayla? What's going on?
Rayla: My water just broke!
Callum: I'll get Opeli! Hang tight, Rayla!
(runs out of room)
Opeli: *runs back in with Callum* Rayla, I'm going to help you through this. If at any point it really REALLY hurts I've got pain killer right here.
Rayla: Okay okay, what do I do?
Opeli: Callum, get me hot water and some towels. ASAP!
Callum: *runs off to grab the stuff*
Opeli: Rayla, breath. Follow my lead, okay? *starts taking large inhales and exhales*
Rayla: *tries to copy her*
Callum: *runs back with all the stuff* Okay, I'm here. *grabs her hand*
(1:05 A.M.)
Opeli: Okay, we're clear. Push!
Rayla: I'm TRYING!!!!
Opeli: Aaugh. *to Callum* She's not pushing hard enough, Say something to make her a little angry.
Callum: Rayla! I- Um, crap why is Lujanne not here, I can't do this!
Opeli: Callum! Your not helping!
Callum: LIFE IS LIKE A FREAKING CROW! THE CROW LIVES AND DIES! THAT'S ALL I GOT!!
Rayla: THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!
Opeli: Well done, Rayla. It's a girl. *raises eyebrows, suprised* And a boy. *grins* A girl and a boy. Congratulations.
Callum: Whoa whoa whoa, T-Twins!?
Opeli: One girl. One boy. *hands Rayla the little girl*
Rayla: *takes her and looks into her face. Whispers* Milo. *looks up at Callum*
Callum: *smiles* Yeah, Milo. I'm so proud of you, honey. *kisses her*
Opeli: *hands her little boy*
Rayla: *hands Milo to Callum*
Callum: Ethari and Milo.
Rayla: *laughs slightly* Yeah.
(rapid knocking on door. Callum answers it. Amaya, Claudia, Soren, Corvus, Ezran, Gren are all standing there)
Amaya: *signs* Question. Is someone DYING in there?
Callum: *laughs* No. Rayla just gave birth. Twins.
Claudia: *shrieks* TWINS?!
Ezran: Okay, let us in now.
Callum: *looks over at Opeli*
Opeli: *rolls eyes and nods*
Callum: *smiles and opens door wider* Come on in.
Gren: Awwwwwww, so CUTEEEE. *makes a cinnamon roll face*
Soren: FINALLY. Little Callums' and Raylas' that will understand me.
Rayla: They have names.
Soren: Sorry. Milo and Ethari.
Amaya: *stern looking until gets handed Milo. Smiling, looks down at her* This one will be a warrior.
Runaan and Ethari: *burst into room*
Ethari: Rayla! We heard the news!
Runaan: *sees Callum. Growls.* Youuu.
Callum: *wide eyes*
Amaya: *sees this and glares at Runaan. Signs* Don't you dare hurt my nephew. Here. *hands him Milo* It's you're kin.
Runaan: *looks like he's about to kill but then sees Milo's adorable little face. <3* Just this ONCE, I'll let you off the hook. *starts cooing over Milo*
Ethari: *sits down on chair next to Rayla's bed* Ah, you two. Runaan can't resist an adorable face. *puts hand under chin palm down and smirks* See? *kisses Runaan, then laughs.* Kidding. Tiadrin and Lain are on their way. Now, *smiles* how's it like being parents.
Rayla: I've been a parent 3 hours, but Ethari, I want you to meet someone. *holds out Ethari* Meet your namesake.
Ethari: *gently takes him and looks into his face. Looks at Rayla.* You named him after me?
Callum: We had too. You've always been there for her.
Ethari: Oh you guys . . . thank you.
Lain: *runs through door* RAYLA! CALLUM! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Tiadrin: Oh hush. Rayla just had a baby. Don't scream. Rayla! Sweetheart! *kisses her forehead*
Callum: Twins, actually.
Lain: What! Oh, Rayla!
Tiadrin: What are their names?
Callum: Milo.
Rayla: Ethari.
Lain: Oh, sweetheart, I'm so proud of you. <3
Callum: *laughs* Rayla, we're parents.
