y/n flinched like she usually would when she heard the gunshot piercing through the air, she shifted uncomfortably on her feet, biting her fingernails out of nervousness as she watched Jeonghan shoot the target with ease.

Y/n, together with all the dream members, was at seventeen's base. It has been almost a week since the whole of seventeen visited their base and they have decided to train their shooting skills at Seventeen's base since they have a bigger practice area.

Currently, only nct dream, Seventeen's assassins, sniper and Dino were in the training area. Jeonghan and Jaemin were practising side by side, placing small bets on who would score higher.

Dino stood in the corner, silently watching y/n flinch slightly at each gunshot sound with Renjun and haechan bickering loudly beside him.

" is y/n ok? " dino asked, leaning towards the bickering duo.

" ah, she's a bit scared of the sound of a gunshot, " renjun explained, " ever since hoshi shot her. "

" Jaemin is training her to get over it though, " haechan said cheerfully, " he's doing a pretty great job too, she used to be more frightened. "

" ah see, i won, " jeonghan said smugly, placing his gun down and patting jaemin's back lightly.

" hyung, you're more experienced, " jaemin said, smiling slightly before walking over to y/n.

" you okay? " jaemin asked, bending down slightly to her eye level. she quickly nodded, smiling weakly at him before glancing away.

he placed his hand on top of her head, rubbing it gently as he knew that it would calm her down.

" they seem close, " dino muttered, glancing at jaemin and y/n.

" he's been talking and smiling more, " haechan told him, raising his eyebrows at both their backs, " ever since they realised that they were childhood friends. "

dino tilted his body slightly to face renhyuck, " childhood friends? " he wondered aloud.

renjun nodded, " long story short, jaemin got into an accident and well, lost his memory. our leader and his dad adopted him, " he explained, " and his dad got killed by wolf crew so he wants to take them down.

" we personally think that jaemin likes her, " haechan added, smirking before getting smacked by renjun to tell him to lower down his volume.

the three of them stood in silence, watching the other members compete against each other.

dino had many things on his mind, he often wondered why nct wanted to go after wolf crew but everything just seemed to fit in place.

his parents, taeyong's dad and also joshua's uncle.

both joshua's parents died when he was one, leaving him with no recollection of them. his uncle raised him alone but again, wolf crew murdered him.

His uncle was aware that he was going to be killed as he had left a note with ' wolf crew ' messily written on it.

Scoups wanted his members to get their revenge, that was one of the reasons why he signed the contract with nct.

" are you close to y/n? " renjun asked, breaking his train of thoughts.

Dino shrugged, refocusing his attention on y/n and jaemin, " make sure jaemin takes care of her well in your base. " he told them, disposing his empty can drink into the bin and walking out of the training room.
