Elena and Kol were a one night stand. She got pregnant and they did shared custody of there daughter Hannah Mikaelson. The daughter grew up among the whole family along with her younger cousin by a few months Hope. Hannah knew that her parents wanted to be together but didn't want to mess up what they had. After Klaus Hayley Elijah and Kol died protecting the girls from the hollow. Hope is broken she misses her parents. Hannah is broken she missed her dad. He and her mom were the only ones that truly understood why she did what she did.Why she acted the way she did. Why she acted out even though she didn't have to.
Hannah sees how broken her mom is now that her dad was gone. Even though they may have claimed they were only friends who were parenting she knew there were feelings they didn't know how to express them.
Hope and Hannah come up with a crazy plan to go back to the past and make the wrongs rights.
