Beomgyu sighed as he pulled up to the school and walked in, following his normal steps to prepare for the next step in the mural. He still felt a bit bad for lying to Taehyun earlier today. Of course, he knew the message the artist was going for. He was the artist. But he couldn't let the younger know that and if that meant spinning a little lie then so be it.

He decided to read the notes first this time and quickly approached them, answering the common compliments and questions with his normal answers. Wouldn't they realize that he wouldn't say who he was until he had to? However, the notes always warmed his heart and drove him on. Seeing that so many people were excited about the end product made him just as excited.

The last one left, per usual, was another rather long one from a red-headed boy

"Hello, mystery artist. Me again. I would like to confess something to you. I thought I knew who you were. I was pretty sure you were a boy that I had met recently and gotten to know a little bit, but today he said something that rather threw me off. I asked him what he thought the message you were trying to share was but he gave me a rather unwanted answer. Not a bad one, per se, just one I don't think you would say, even if you didn't want to be known. It's crazy to me that I'm even sharing this but here we are. So now, I do not know who you are, however, your personality draws me in and I am quite excited to learn. Now, this, as always, is looking amazing. I love the detail you put in and one can clearly tell that it took you a lot of time. This person you painted reminds me of a friend of mine- isn't that funny? I'm excited about the final product. Anyways, my curiosity grows every day and, as always, I ask

Who are you?"

Beomgyu read over the note before sitting down and flipping the note over to write on the back.ad he based this character off of somebody he knew? Yes, he had, but in a very abstract way so the artist was slightly shocked that Taehyun had caught on. He was also slightly relieved that he was able to throw off the younger as to his identity, which was like a small breath of fresh air to him. Sighing, he brought his pen down to the yellow paper and slowly wrote out a response.

"Hello, mystery writer. You again, indeed. I see that my identity is really interesting to you and, although I will not share it, I am slightly flattered by your curiosity. I guess I wish you luck in your quest to figure it out. The product hopefully won't disappoint, however, do not forget to appreciate the journey. And once again, thank you for the compliments and comments- they continue to grow in my heart. And as always,

You'll see."

Beomgyu replaced all of the notes before quickly moving to continue the painting. He had decided that since tonight he had an unusual amount of homework, he would just continue with the details, building more highlights on the tree's bark and adding more flowers on the ground. He returned to the boy on the fountain and began adding small highlights and shadows to his clothing and hair, then continued to add more clouds and stars to the sky. It was a simple day and Beomgyu finished in about an hour, quickly packing up before leaving the school and returning home, only to collapse on his bed and pull out the long-dreaded math homework.
