Massimo's POV

Me and Adam were sitting in the bar as he was trying to calm me down ,

He handed me the glass of scotch
" here , take it " , he said

I looked up and grabbed it , honestly I was in no mood to have it , I just wanted to escape from this hell and live a peaceful life with my Laura .

I took a sip and kept the glass over the counter and Adam started speaking ,

" look brother , as far as I have observed this psychotic bitch , Veronica , she is a hard one for sure , " , he said ,

" she is cunning as fuck and moreover she is ruthless which makes her even more dangerous " , he added , " so that is why we have to use our mind rather than our force to defeat her " ,

" and how we will do that ? " , I asked ,

He smirked , " we will beat her in her own game "

" she is may be cunning but she is short tempered and obsessively in love with you ",

" we have to take advantage of that only " , Adam looked deep into my eyes and leaned a little , " her obsession for you is her biggest weakness , YOU , Massimo is her biggest weakness right now " ,

I took a deep breath ,

" so what should I do now ? ", I asked

He leaned back , " just play along right now , make her believe that you have surrendered yourself to her , that you are all hers now "

" so you want me to have sex with her !? " , I snapped

" For Laura and her safety , you have to do anything what it takes buddy " , he replied in a serious tone .
He added , " and a little fun have not harmed anyone "

" I am not going to do such sort of disgusting thing , that's being unfaithful to Laura " , I replied seriously,

" like you never had sex with other girls even though you saw Laura the day your father died ",
I had no reply to that

He held me in a spot ,

I think for Laura I have to do this , I have to go to any extent to keep her safe and sound .

I sighed , " I think you are right ",

Adam smiled , " you can do this , my friend " , " now when she finds us here , be all lovey dovey ",
" she will doubt you initially for sure but you have to gain her trust ",

He took a pause and then spoke ,
" it won't be easy , my boy "

After few minutes of Adam making me explain his plan we heard the door getting open up ,

I turned my head and saw that wicked witch Veronica Kingston stepping into the room ,

God !  I hate her !

She came in and I started doing my acting ,

" hey baby !" ,

I took all my power in the body and gave a fake smile ,

She looked a little surprised as she narrowed down her eyebrows a little ,

But she smiled ,

" come closer baby !" , I invited her to get closer to me so that I can show how much I have started loving her ,

She knew it was fake

But I had to make her realise that I am trying my best to be her lover boy , no matter how much I loath her .

She stepped in front of me and I kissed her , and again I surprised her but she kept it subtle .

" you liked your new home " I asked ,

" I loved it , honey ", she replied ,

" great , tomorrow we will have a party so that I can introduce my lady love to my people " ,

I said while brushing her hair with my hand softly ,

Her smile turned into a smirk ,

Oh shit !

She is upto something.

" I am excited !"

She added , " but before that.....let's just relax a little " ,
She came closer to me and placed her hand over my chest ,

She authoritatively commanded me to appear in " our " room ,

And she left ,

Fuck

I looked at Adam as she left the room ,

I sighed and stepped down from my seat and prepared myself ,

" wish me luck " ,

I stepped out of the bar and initiated towards my room ,

As I was walking towards my room , I kept wondering what Veronica has in her mind , I was preparing myself for everything .

Finally I stepped into my room ,

It was empty ,

I cleared my throat ,

" babe !!" , I raised my voice ,

" here baby " , I heard the voice from the bathroom,

This is ain't gonna be smooth

I entered the bathroom and saw something which I didn't intent to see ,

Veronica sitting in the bubble bathtub

Naked .
