12. Mera favourite singer hai Shaan..

Sidharth entered the classroom, followed by Shehnaaz. He went to his bench where Tanishq was sitting, facing his back towards him and Harpreet was sitting in front of him. They were so lost in each other that they didn't notice anything going on around them..

"Tanishq, hatt yaha se." Sidharth said. But Tanishq was so lost in Harpreet's eyes that he didn't hear it. 

"TANISHQ!" Sidharth said loudly.

"Teri aankhon ki ye namkeen mastiyan, teri hasi ki beparwah gustakhiyan, nahi bhulunga mein jab tak hai jaan, selmon bhoi hai Khan, mera favourite singer hai Shaan.." Tanishq blabbered. 

Sidharth was already pissed off because of Ronnie and now Tanishq's behavior added fuel to the fire. Sidharth kicked him on his back, making him scream.

"AAAAHHHHHH! KON HAI BE?" He turned back only to see Sidharth glaring him fiercely. His screams attracted everyone's attention and Shehnaaz started laughing seeing his condition.

"Hasna band kar Shehnaaz." He turned to Sidharth. "Aur tu, tune mujhe kyu maara? Kamar toot gayi meri."

"Haan toh kya ho gaya, tujhe konsa thumke maarne the jo kamar tootne pe itna ro raha hai." Shehnaaz laughed more loudly. Sidharth also wanted to laugh but he kept on his angry look.

"Waah, matlab ab tu bhi uske side ho gayi. Sahi hai. Par yeh toh bata maara kyu?" He asked.

"Itne zor zor se bol raha tha tujhe hatt jaa, hatt jaa. Par nahi, tu toh apni 'girlfriend' me hi khoya hua tha. Pata nahi kya namkeen ki dukaan khol li thi tune, jaan khan shaan, falana dhimkana." Sidharth said.

"Tanishq, tum theek toh ho na? Zyada zor se toh nahi lagi?" Harpreet asked concernedly.

"Bilkul nahi lagi. Soch raha hu Dance India Dance ka audition de aau. Yeh kaisa sawal hua, tumhe meri haalat dekh ke lag raha hai mein theek hun?" Tanishq said.

"Kaisa dost hai tumhara? Yeh kya harkat hai, tum apne dost ko itni zor se kaise maar sakte ho Mr. Scowl?"

"Arre tu meri girlfriend hai ya dushman, kyu ye naam bolkar aur pitwana chahti hai." Tanishq joined his hands in front of her.

"Isme Sidharth ki koi galti nahi hai, usne pehle pyaar se hi bola tha."Shehnaaz defended. He went and put his arm around her shoulder. Just as he did this, he forgot everything about Ronnie and just kept looking at her. She also kept looking in his eyes. They got lost in each other. Tanishq and Harpreet both smiled seeing them.

"Aankhon ki gustakhiyan, maaf ho." Tanishq sang.

"Ek-tuk tumhe dekhti hai, jo baat kehna chahe zubaan." Harpreet joined him.

Both of them looked at SidNaaz and sang together, "Tumse ye woh kehti hai."

Later that day, they were supposed to stay back in school due to some work. When Tanishq and Harpreet got busy with something, Shehnaaz and Sidharth were left alone. They were sitting on the stage of the assembly hall next to each other. Sidharth seemed quite upset about something as he spoke even less than he did everyday. And Shehnaaz being Shehnaaz, decided to cheer him up. 

"Sidhaaaarthh!" She said.

"Haan?" He replied absent-mindedly. 

"Tu life me sabse zyada close kisse hai?" She asked. "Aur one word answer nahi chalega, poora explain karna padega. 5 marks ka question hai." She added making him chuckle at her antics.

"Tanishq hai. Bachpan se uske saath raha hu na. Bhale hi kitna bhi ladh le aur ek dusre ki beizzati kar lein, but I know when I need him, he'll be there and I'll be there for him." He said, reminiscing all the time when he felt low and needed someone to understand him, Tanishq was always by his side.
