Love. A word which has many variations. But once you understand its true meaning, you start seeing the world with a different perspective. Same thing happened with Sidharth and Shehnaaz. Their lives were completely different. Shehnaaz felt love in the form of family but not as a lover. While Sidharth had only his friends who loved him. But when these two souls met, thousands of unknown emotions and unsaid feelings erupted. And this hug in the library was the proof. They separated after a long time.
"Bas kar moti baby tera saara makeup mere upper pe lag raha hai." Sidharth said, wiping the tears which escaped her eyes.
"Kutte, tujhe mein moti lagti hun. Aur maine toh aaj makeup kiya bhi nahi hai." She hit him on his bicep.
"Yeh sab chhod, bata tujhe letter kaisa laga?" He asked nervously.
"Kya batau Sidharth, kasam lage, mein toh khushi ke maare ro hi padi thi. Tune itna cute letter likha tha sach me. Par mera bahut ganda tha na?"
"Gadhi hai kya, tune jo bhi usme likha wo sab mujhe itna pyaara laga ki mein bhi rone lag gaya tha." He kissed her forehead.
"Kha kasam." She said, her eyes glittering.
"Teri kasam meri jaan."
"Haaye mera kullu" She said and hugged him again.
"Ab lunch karne chalein? Bahut bhook lagi hai subah se pareshan tha mein."
"Haan chal."
They both moved out hand in hand and reached the canteen. Taking their plates, they went to Tanishq and Harpreet.
Tanishq nudged Sidharth and said in the typical best friend tone, "OHOHOHOHOHO! Aur bhai, sab set ekdam?"
"Haan, wahan toh sab set hai par tujhe set karna baaki hai. Aaj tu school ke baad mere ghar chalna." He glared at him.
"Par maine kara kya?" Tanishq asked.
"Zyada bhola mat ban. Jo tune aur teri 'girlfriend' ne muh banaya tha na, use dekh kar mera dil muh me aa gaya tha. Bas ab tu mere ghar chalega aaj." Sidharth said.
"Arre par.." Tanishq tried to protest but in vain.
"That's final now. Ab khana kha le." Sidharth said with finality in his tone. Tanishq knew what was going to happen after school. He tched started eating his food silently.
"Sana, kaisa laga surprise?" Harpreet asked.
"Tujhe iske baare me pata tha?" Shehnaaz asked.
"Haan. Mujhe aur Tanishq dono ko pata tha." Harpreet said, but then realized that she didn't tell Shehnaaz she knew about it. By the time she could cover, Shehnaaz was already hitting her on her arms.
"Kitne paapi ho tum dono mujhe bataya bhi nahi." She yelled.
"Sana meri baat toh sun, ruk jaa." Harpreet protested but Shehnaaz was not ready to listen to her.
"Shehnaaz, mat maar usko. Maine hi mana kiya tha." Sidharth said in a calm voice.
Shehnaaz put a halt to her action and continued eating. Sidharth gave a victory look to Harpreet while she looked at him with an angry frown.
"Sahi hai, ab toh meri kya zarurat hai isko. Ab toh ise tum mil gaye ho, Mr. Scowl." Harpreet teased.
"Itni hi dikkat hai toh chali jao yahan se." Sidharth said.
"Mein kyu jau? Tum baad me aaye ho tum jao."
"Mein kahin nahi jaa raha hun. Dikkat tumhe hai mujhe nahi."
"Chup kar na bhai aur khana kha le." Tanishq interrupted.
"Tu toh aaj kuch bol hi mat, it is not good for you." Sidharth gritted his teeth.
