I Kissed a Girl (LINNY/GUNA)

Chapter 6: Keep Quiet

GINNY'S POV:

"Looney Lesbian!" He yelled and laughed.

Luna backed away from me and frowned.

"Take that back!" I really wasn't in the mood to beat him up, so I yelled at him instead.

"Ginny..." Luna put a hand on my shoulder and I sighed. I decided to just go back into the Gryffindor common rooms with Luna.

Hermione , Ron , and Harry were still there and were now joined by Fred and George.

There was a bang outside and Luna and I tried to ignore it.

"Is everything ok?" Asked Ron.

"Yeah, why?"I asked. Maybe if I didn't think about it they wouldn't notice the loud noise outside.

"Those loud noises outside say otherwise." Said Fred

"I'm gonna go check out what it is." Said Ron

"No!" Me and Luna said at the same time.

"What? Why not? If you don't tell me I will check it out." Ron was getting upset that we were keeping secrets from him.

Luna and I stood still not saying a word and he went on to see what it was.

"You seem familiar... wait. Aren't you the one who-" We heard Ron's voice say until he was interrupted.

"Yeah, yeah! You're sister punched me! Just move!" And we heard a bang on the wall.

"Looney Les-" He started and I pushed him as I hard as I could.

"HEY!" I yelled. I was scared they would find out what happened between me and Luna.

"Shut up for once! Nobody cares." I was rolling my eyes. He was annoying as hell and got even more annoying if that even makes sense!

"Don't touch me ugly fa-" He was about to call me a slur until I punched him in the right side of his face.

"Ginny, no!" Exclaimed Hermione.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled. I was heated, angry , and wanted to beat the life out of him.

"Don't ever call me or Luna anything like that!" I grabbed him by the shirt and held a fist up to his face.

"Ginny, please..." Luna's voice made me tear up.

"Do it! I dare you! Do it and I tell the whole school what I saw!" He yelled.

Tears ran down my cheeks and I let go of him. When I backed away I felt Luna's hands on my shoulders.

"Try anything on me, Ginny Weasley and your secret's out." He said and ran out.

"Ginny...what was that?" Ron was getting up from the floor.

"I..." Everyone was staring at me and Luna was just nervous and awkward.

"I'd rather not." That's all I said and didn't want to say anything else. I wasn't ready to.

"There has to be a reason why he did that." Said George.

I ran out of the Gryffindor rooms as fast as I could not looking back. I ran and ran until I couldn't feel my feet anymore.

I stopped in the middle of the hallway and just kept walking. I was too tired to keep on crying.

"Weasley? Did you get any sleep last night?" Asked Draco now standing next to me.

I couldn't hold it up anymore and no matter how tired I was, I started to let out tears.

"Whoa! What's wrong with you?" He was shocked since he's never really seen me so emotional.

"I'm disgusting...I kissed a girl." I kept on crying. I didn't care if it was Draco Malloy I had to tell somebody.

"Oh...I understand what you feel like Ginny...I've kissed a boy before." He said.

"Wait...really? If you don't mind telling me, who? I can tell you who I kissed." I was interested now.

We sat on the floor with our backs against the wall.

"Well I kissed...don't get mad...Harry Potter." He said with a slight blush.

"Oh wow! I'm not mad. I'm just surprised. I never thought either of you would kiss boys and much less each other." I was truly surprised. I never expected that.

"Well yeah but aren't you going to tell me who you kissed?" He said.

"Oh right. I kissed Luna Lovegood. A boy saw us and called her and I names." I said finally wiping my tears.

"Didn't expect that either! Harry and I were planning on coming out today. If you want you can join our coming out, only if your ready." He was actually nice to me.

"No thanks. And Malfoy I didn't know you were such a softie!" I giggled a bit.

"I am not! I just don't show my feelings around others. You're lucky I opened up to you. I barely do unless I've know this person for a long time and trust them." He giggled with me.

"Malfoy! Get away from my sister!" Ron came to me and pulled me away from him.

"No, it's ok. He's kind. Isn't that right softie? I mean...Malfoy.." I chuckled.

He chuckled back. Who could've known I would become close to Draco and kiss the girl I liked in one day?

"Now that you're here...I think there's something you should all know about me...and Harry." Draco said. I was excited for him. He was finally revealing a big secret about himself. I wanted to see how the others reacted to know what to expect when It's my turn.

"Draco and I...we're um...we're dating." Said Harry.

Luna just smiled with me. I found her hand and held it tight.

"Oh..oh wow...ok...so. Not what I expected but I don't mind." Said Ron.

"What Ron said. You're happiness is important Harry, and if Draco makes you happy, I'm happy too." Said Hermione.

"So that's why I saw Harry and Draco together on the Marauders Map?"  Said Fred and George just made this face (😏)

They all laughed and Ginny looked at Luna.

Ginny wanted to tell everyone she and Luna kissed but she didn't have the confidence.

Ginny and Luna smiled at each other and saw the cheerful group of friends.

This is where she wanted to be at. With her friends, laughing.

She loved Luna's hand in hers. She knew her friends and siblings were accepting, but were her parents accepting?
