Jennie and Kai.

Those two are quite similar: they are both huge fans of bears, they like listening to indie songs from the 80s on a rainy day and they rather spend their holidays traveling than staying at home. When I first met Kai, I thought that he would be the prince charming Jennie was looking for. I felt sad because I knew that one day she would meet someone with the same lifestyle as hers and he was perfect for the role.

I know deep inside me that they could make a couple, but now I'm starting to doubt myself. I can't believe they got into a fight a few hours ago. Kai still has the red mark that Jennie left on him with her Chanel bag. Since the very first night they met each other, they never got along well and I feel like it has something to do with me.

"These snacks are delicious," Jisoo says before bouncing next to me.

We went to a small grocery store while the others went to the hospital for their injuries. Some people were doing their shopping and we spend our whole time in the food department. Then, we walked to a larger supermarket because Chaeyoung asked us to buy a few brands of cakes for her because she loves French pastries.

After two hours and a half of struggling to buy something to eat for tonight, we finally settled with a box of sushis and sweet drinks.

"Can I taste it?" I ask her before taking a bite of her chocolate cookie.

She's not joking, it does taste delicious. My eyes widen at the sweet flavor and we both nod in agreement. Jennie will love this cookie. she's always had a weakness for cookies and chocolate chips.

"Did you buy it because the packaging was pretty ?" I tease her.

She shakes her head lightly and takes another bite of her cookie, "Nope. Jennie recommended me this when we were having lunch this morning."

I know that Jennie is familiar with French culture because there was a time, she had to travel there a lot for work so I'm not surprised to hear this.

"Did you guys talk about anything else ?"

I feel her nudging me, "What do you want to know ?"

I want to know everything, but I don't think Jisoo is capable to remember their whole conversation.

"I just... I'm just wondering if there's a reason why you've come all the way here..."

We stop in front of an elevator and Jisoo presses the button. When I hear her sigh, I turn my head to look at her. She seems to be as confused as me.

"It's Jennie... I don't know why but she's acting weird lately. She looks like she is looking for someone. I don't get her. She's always so mysterious. I wouldn't be surprised if she comes back to Korea with a french boyfriend."

I frown as we enter the elevator. I don't think it's a coincidence that they are in Toulouse for visiting. Perhaps, Jennie has a past with Kai? Or maybe, they have nothing in common, only the fact that they don't like each other.

I might be overthinking.

We enter the hotel suite of Jennie's and the surroundings leave me speechless. Everything looks so elegant and well thought. Each furniture is inspired by the minimalist movement and it gives off a modern vibe.

This is absolutely stunning, but not surprising coming from Jennie.

She always books her room in the most stylish hotels in the town.
