Laura's POV

Finally my brownies were ready! I haven't made them in months and it was nice to bake for someone I cared about, well I more than care about Cameron but I don't want to think about that.

"Mmm I can smell them from my room" Estefania says stretching her hand out to grab one

"No!" I tell her

She backs away and smiles "I know they're for Cameron"

"When do you see him again" Gen says standing next to Nani

They both look at me expectantly.

"Well he said something about seeing me tonight but..."

"But?" Gen asks

"He wants everyone to get together again" I sigh

"Weird" Nani says

"I know"

"Maybe he's more comfortable with people around him."

"You're probably right. The other night when we went out, it took us a while to get comfortable around each other."

"I mean it's going to take a while for that. It's not like we didn't notice the spark between y'all right away" Gen informs me.

I blush. Wow was I that obvious? And it wasn't just me but Cameron really was smitten with me.

"Is that why you and Joe didn't work out?" Nani asks

Gen bites her lip and said "part of it, but me and Joe were always complicated. Not like Laura and Cameron. Their love was written in the stars" she sighs

I laugh "Oh whatever!"

Both girls leave to their room and I decide to check on Valerie while the brownies cool. She hasn't been out of our room since she got back from the store.

I can hear her talking to someone, I'm guessing it was on the phone as I get closer to the door I stop and listen to her giggling.

"You'll see me soon"

"Yeah, her words didn't get to me"

"I believe you"

"Ok later then. Bye Zach"

I walk into the room right then and was she blushing?

"Hey you ok? You seemed a bit off when you got here."

"I'm fine" she rolled her eyes "me and Carolina just go into a fight"

"What? When?"

"She had gotten here right when I was leaving and she came along but she started telling me how I don't know how to take care of myself" she shakes her head "I'm over it though"

"Maybe she was doing it for a reason"

"Maybe"

Val then gets off her bed and leaves me in the room alone. What's up with her today?

I go back to the kitchen and decide to call Carolina, I didn't like seeing my friends fighting.

"Hello" she answers

"Hey chica, have a minute"

"Sure"

Right then the doorbell rings. So I go over to open it and I couldn't believe it.
