Just a quick filler chapter.

Valerie’s POV

Zach came over early in the morning and he wasn’t his usual happy self.

“Hey baby” he says laying down on my bed. Laura didn’t look too happy to see him there after what she saw last time so she left the room.

“I’ll be back later” she heads out the door “oh and remind Estefania that we’re going to the gym this afternoon”

“Ok but Laura I think she’s seeing Taylor again so call her”

“Shoot ok. See you later Val… Zach” she nods

Zach waves at her and I go lay next to him.

“She’s still not over what she saw?”

“Nope” I shake my head “I don’t know why though, we weren’t doing anything bad”

He turns to look at me and leans in a bit “not yet at least” then kisses me.

“Why are you here so early?” ask sitting up “something wrong?”

“No” he sighs “had a bad night, and you’re the only person who could keep my mind off what’s going on”

“Is it the Genesis thing? Does Carolina believe you’re thing?”

“I’m not sure, but I stopped that whole sham”

“You did?” I asked surprised

“Yeah Joe got mad at me yesterday”

“Joe but he’s not here, did he call you?”

“He got here last night”

“To surprise Gen? Awe, so that means Caro knows now right?”

“No, Nick came to see Carolina and Joe tagged along conveniently”

“You almost sound mad about it…” I say and how did he see Joe? “You were with her last night weren’t you?”

“You’ve asked too many questions, in such a short amount of time” Zach rolls his eyes “I don’t want to lie to you so, yes I was with her”

“Why?!” I almost cry out

But I stand from the bed looking away from him, he stands also and I can feel him wrap his arms around me tightly

“Get away from me!” I try to pull away

Zach was stronger and held me close, kissing my shoulder before he spoke “stop, I was just there to tell her about how I hated what we were doing and that it wasn’t fair to you, to us”

I turned around to look at me and a part of me believed me while another scram that he was lying. I would be a fool not to notice the way he looked at Genesis but right now having him by my side proved that he cared about me and only me.

“You’re the only girl for me” he continued

I turned around and kept him close “and you’re the only guy for me”

He smiled for the first time since he got there and rubbed out noses together.

That was all I needed for now.

Laura’s POV

Ended up calling Estefania after I left the house and she said she was at Target so Gen and I decided to meet her up there as well. None of us have gotten a chance to talk about our dates so I was thrilled to be meeting up with both of them since I was dying to hear about Taylor’s romantic side.
