have you not heard
oh veins of my heart
what the mind echoed
a little while ago?
"it's not you, it's me"
so submerge in relief
be a little less erratic
envelope the blanket
of kindness and mercy
stay a little childish
be gentle, and true
isn't it a dream within
a dream of many
to find a delightful soul
that sounds as soothing
as the waves on a beach?
