Sunshine's POV

[November 3, 2045, 6:30 PM, Infirmary]

"What happened to your elbow, Sunshine?" Emma asked as I take a seat at the edge of her bed. I caressed the bandage before replying to her.

"I tripped, and that causes me a pretty nasty wound." Just then the door opened and me and Emma look up to see Ray with a frown and Norman with a contented smile. I furrowed my eyebrows, not knowing what will happen before a vision slide past my eyes.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Ray snarled as he grabbed Norman's collar and hitched him up. Emma looked at him with a terrified look as she raised her hands up.

"Run away! It's not too late!" Emma said shakily as the vision ends.

I shook my head as I looked at Emma. She stared at Norman as the thought of Norman getting killed finally dawned her. Just then, Ray grabbed Norman's collar before hitching it up.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Ray snarled. Emma looked at them with a terrified look while I just stared at Norman's face.

"Run away! It's not too late!" Emma said shakily as she stared at Norman.

"No way." Norman said smugly with a smile as he looked down at Ray. Emma gasped as I stared at them indifferently. "I'm not going to escape. Never mind that. Listen to me." Norman continued. Ray let out a 'tch' before throwing Norman off-balance. Ray didn't listen as he was still blinded by rage. I looked at Norman with a sad look, thinking that the fall must've hurt him.

Suddenly, Ray appeared before me, hoisting me up. Emma let out a terrified shriek as I looked at Ray's eyes with a scared look. Ray looked at me with blinded rage before speaking up.

"You. . . you didn't let Norman escape. I know you're with him this whole time." Ray sneered at me. I placed my hand on top of his which is still holding my collar. Ray's glare intensifies as Norman tried to let Ray's grip loosen. Ray scoffed before letting me go just as how he let go of Norman. I inhaled deeply, ignoring the pain from my chest.

"It's not her fault. Hear me out." Norman said. Ray rolled his eyes, turning his back at me. He murmured some words that made me stop thinking.

"Of course it's her fault. She sees the future, yet she didn't let you escape. She didn't let you live. And look, she faked her wound on her elbow to get your pity." I looked at him in disbelief as every words engraved itself on my heart, creating a mental scar. Tears gathered in my eyes as I stopped the urge to retort.

"That wound is not fake, just hear me out, Ray." Norman said with seriousness and finality as he walked to where the window is located. He stopped for a second before looking back at us with a blank look.

"It's a cliff." Norman said with a flat tone. Emma and Ray snapped up their gaze as a tear rolled down my cheeks.

"Eh?" Emma said, her eyes wide. Ray looked at him, his rage diminished as he stared at Norman.

"Past the wall. . . is a cliff." Norman said more clearly as he stared in the eyes of Ray.

"A cliff?" Emma asked, unsure of what she heard. I drew in a shaky breath as I pushed down the negative thoughts that started forming in my head. I stand up and made my way to Emma, who is also staring at Norman.

"The drop is way more than enough to kill anyone." I said in a soft shaky voice. "You can't even see the bottom of it." I continued as I lower my head when I noticed Ray's head turning to look at me.
