Chapter 20

I run towards her and I hug her super tight. I also start crying. I hate it! I missed her so much, its been a lot of months since we last saw each other. Hindi ako bumitaw for like 5 minutes, pero nung narinig ko ng umubo si Joaquin ay bumitaw na ako.

"Why are you crying?" I wiped my tears and she helps me. Mas lalo lang tuloy akong umiyak dahil sa ginawa niya.

I sob and sob every seconds while I'm looking at her. She looks beautiful! Akala ko pa naman pag nag kita kami ay mukha na siyang haggard pero mas gumanda pa siya lalo.

"I missed you so bad!" 

"You're such a baby." she said  the same words that Joaquin told me earlier. 

"Why did you cut your hair?"

"Oh! This? It's a long story but I look pretty right?"

I just nodded, still wiping my tears.

"God you really do miss me you didn't say your famous line!"

"It's been months you witch! You just left me like that."

"Well now I'm here for us to hang out!"

"How do you know that I'm here?"

"This is a big coincidence. Hindi kita sinusundan wag ka mag-alala."

"Are you alone?"

"No. I'm with Cole."

My mouth firmed a "o" shape. They're together!

"Where is he?"

"I don't know. I left him bahala siya mag-hanap saakin."

"Ang sama naman ng ugali mo!"

"Alam ko! How about you? Are you with someone?" I saw her glancing at Joaquin and she looks at me with a very ma-issue eyes and she smiled. I know what she is thinking!

"No, no and no." I shook my head "Mali ka ng iniisip. He's Joaquin and I'm not sure  if we are friends or what but I hate him so much." 

"Hi Joaquin, I'm Aime. Enya's Bestfriend." she offered her hands to him. Nagulat ako! Aime is not like that hindi siya nag papakilala kung kani-kanino. She's not friendly at all.

"Hi." Joaquin offered his hands too pero binawi niya rin agad.

Napaatras si Aime. "Woah so cold," she said and faced me "Siya lang ba ang kasama mo dito? Paano ka nakakatagal na kasama siya? No wonder kaya mo siya hate."

"No I'm also with my bestfriend too."

"Hey!" hinampas niya ako sa braso ko.

"Bakit mo ako hinampas?!"

"Anong bestfriend? Nag ka hiwalay lang tayo may bago ka na? Ayoko na uuwi na ako!"

"Sige ingat ka."

"Napaka sama ng ugali mo! Sabi mo miss mo 'ko tapos ngayon papayag ka lang na umuwi ako agad?"

"You're so maarte kasi. It's normal for me to have a friends here. Do you want me to feel alone and lonely here ha?"

"Unless naman na you can't do that. Kung hindi kita kinulit na maging friends tayo noon hindi ka talaga mag kakaroon ng kaibigan dahil ayaw mo naman kasi talaga mag karoon. Girl you can live all by yourself."

"Well you have a point, but Veronica is different.."

"Sino mas love mo ako o siya."

"Stop it para kang bata."

"Enya isang tanong isang sagot!"

"I bet it's me, right Enya?" 

Mukha pang nagulat si Aime sa boses ni Veronica sa likod nito dahil napa lundag siya, humarap siya dito at nakita kong nanlaki ang mga mata niya. There is something about Veronica's smile too. I look at them and they really have resemblance!
