Today, I am so happy with my mum, dad and older brother Sid celebrating mum and dad's wedding anniversary at my favourite restaurant.
We were just talking when dad received a call and he went outside to attend it. Sid had gone to the washroom when suddenly gun shots were heard.
I was so scared that I started crying. Mom pushed me under the table. After some time, dad pulled me from there and we saw mom lying in her pool of blood. She died on the spot.
Three years later when I was twelve, everyone I love left me alone in this world. My brother and dad died in an car accident.
A few hours after the funeral, my uncle (dad's brother) talked to me.
"Come with us, beta. You will be staying with us from now on. " he said sadly, but I couldn't see what was behind his teary eyes and sad voice as I was too young for that.
