Chapter 10

Present

"Okay, Alaric and Freya are almost here with Finn's body." Elijah slid his phone into the inside pocket of his suit jacket. 

"Finally! Only took them a whole day." Rebekah sighed as she poured herself some whiskey. Bonnie and Damon weren't in the study with them. 

"Where are Bonnie and Damon?" Bianca asked as she walked into the study with the herbs she needed. Kol looked up from his phone, Jeremy and Davina stopped talking, and Marcel set down the book he had started to read. 

"They were in here before Elijah left to talk to Freya." Kol said as he looked back down at his phone. 

"Do they always disappear?" Marcel asked. Everyone looked at Jeremy, seeing as he was the only one who knew them the best. 

"It happened a lot, while Damon and Elena were together. He literally would disappear and not five minutes later would Bonnie disappear. I think Elena got suspicious because before her and the others were sent to the past, they had a huge fight about it." Jeremy said. 

"What was she suspicious of?" Kol asked suddenly intrigued. 

"She thought Damon was cheating on her with Bonnie. Caroline and Stefan thought so too." Jeremy said recalling the huge fight that happened while they were all at the Salvatore house two days before they were sent in the past. 

"So they aren't together anymore?" Rebekah asked. 

"I'm not 100% sure a lot happened that day, a lot of yelling, people were stabbed, things were getting thrown. But I'm pretty sure they are over. I think Elena always suspected something was between them but didn't want to believe Bonnie would do that to her." Jeremy said. 

Hayley, Jackson, Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, Davina, Marcel, Bianca, and Elijah just processed the information that was told.

"What about you?" Hayley asked. 

"What do you mean?" Jeremy asked confused by what she meant. 

"I mean how did you feel? Did you think Elena was right to suspect something? You and Bonnie use to date, right?" Hayley asked. 

"I think Elena was right to suspect something. Bonnie and I use to date and I was mad because if Damon was cheating on my sister, it's horrible because she gave up a lot to be with him and for Bonnie to do that to her best friend..." Jeremy trailed off. 

A door shut from down stairs. "It's Freya and Alaric." Klaus said standing up. They all walked out of the study and downstairs. Freya and Alaric moved the coffin to the center of the living room area. 

"Next time, you can go through your own traps to get a coffin." Freya gave Klaus a look. 

Klaus smirked, "You're both still in one piece." 

Freya rolled her eyes and opened the coffin, reveling Finn. His body gray covered with dark veins. 

Bianca sett her herbs on the table and opened the book. "Freya I'll need you to do the recreation spell, While I start the one to bring his memories back." Bianca said as she handed the spell book Freya would need. 

"Okay. Where is Bonnie and Damon? Shoudn't they be here for this?" Freya asked. Just then Bonnie and Damon both walked out of a room. Everyone was looking at them. Bonnie's hair was messy and her clothes weren't on her right. 

Damon's hair looked like someone was running their hand through it and he had a few buttons of his shirt undone. 

Alaric looked at the two shaking his head, remember the events that transpired that day. The others knew Elena was right to be suspicious.
