The next morning Liam got up first as he had to go to work earlier he decided on making Zayn some Pancakes knowing he won't be up for a while he started mixing all the ingredients together humming to himself and doing some sort of odd dance while he was pouring the mixture into the pan he thought to himself what it would be like when they have their baby or toddler helping

He started to imagine him waking up to a crying child and taking them to the kitchen trying not to wake Zayn he would let them mix the batter and try to crack an egg and watch him as he poured the mixture into the pan

he was so caught up in baby dreamland that he didn't notice that Zayn was now next to him flipping the now burnt pancake

"Li, I think next time you want to make me breakfast you are going to have to stay in the room" Zayn hums kissing Liam on the cheek before giving him a hug

"I was in the room," Liam says trying to stay serious hugging Zayn back and softly rubbing his back just like he like it
"I mean mentally what were you thinking about?" Zayn asks trying to understand what was going through his husband head

"Baby" Liam said in a whisper but Zayn managed to catch it and the whole mood in the room changed with that one word Zayn lifted his head off Liam's chest and started finish Liam's attempted breakfast

"How about you get ready and I'll finish breakfast," Zayn says trying to not show his emotions even though he knows Liam can read him like a book even when he tries his hardest to hide
"sure thanks babe," Liam says kissing Zayn's head before leaving the room

Soon Liam was ready he walked out of his room and sat down at the table thanking Zayn, Zayn just nodded and kissed Liam's forehead Liam felt bad for bringing up babies because he knows that Zayn will no be doing the same thing he was imagining what mornings would be like with a baby/toddler of there own he also knows that Zayn blames himself for the pair not being able to conceive very easily he finishes his breakfast and gets up to leave but makes sure to kiss his husband before leaving

"Zebra" Liam starts to say as Zayn starts to pack up the table Liam sometimes calls Zayn Zebra because Zayn started to call him Lemur (Lima) or Lion sometimes "I'm sorry about this morning I have to go to work now and I'll miss you like crazy" Liam says as he hugs Zayn from behind while he does the dishes

"It's ok I know you didn't mean to ruin the mood it was just my head," Zayn says turning his head around and pecking the corner of Liam's lips

"Promise me you'll go out today maybe with harry or you could even see your family," Liam asks "I just don't want you here alone" Liam adds with puppy dog eyes he knows that Zayn will likely spend his dad on the couch watching some new shitty reality tv show and thinking about having a baby

"I promise," Zayn says now fully turned around with his hands on Liam's hips and kissing him lightly "now you need to go before you are late again you don't want to be fired" Zayn laughs Liam works in an office and his boss has a huge crush on him and she puts him in the front office where she and passer-byes can basically stare at him

that was one of the main reasons Zayn wanted Liam to take his last name when they got married so people knew that he was now a married man Zayn knows that no one would actually make a move on Liam and if they do he knows Liam would shut them down before anything happens so he likes to tease Liam

although sometimes when Liam comes home and tells stories about the 5 girls who would repeatedly walk past his office or aimlessly knock on his office door just to have "chat" or sometimes just give up on trying to be sneaky and stand outside his glass walls and just stare at him like he was an animal in the Zoo Zayn had to admit it did make him nervous knowing that his husband could have any number of girls and even other guys

"Stop that" Liam says bringing Zayn out of his daydream "I know what your thinking and you know that you are the only one I want and the only I'll ever need," Liam says kissing Zayn forehead and then his grinning lips "but I really should go bye bub," Liam says only pecking Zayn on lips before turning around to leave knowing that he was likely to get lost in the kiss and he really didn't want to give his boss an excuse to ask him to her office where she would just sit and stare at him for a bit

As soon as Liam leaves Zayn goes back to packing the dishwasher and hand washing the ones that didn't fit before going to sit on the couch to turn on some shitty reality TV show and overthink about having a baby and what it would be like but before he makes it to the couch he remembers his promise to Liam and decides to go to Louis's Harry and Louis had a fight last night according to the 3 am call he got from Louis

Apparently, Harry thought Louis was pushing him and Eddie away he thought that Louis was thinking about leaving so harry 'made his decision easier' by taking Eddie and leaving to go stay at his mum's house for a bit

So Zayn thinks that both himself and Louis need a shoulder and some fatty foods so he gets in his car and goes to the shops to buy a lot of fatty and unhealthy food and then went to Louis house pulling up he sighed noticing that Harry's car wasn't out the front anymore like he suspected. today was going to be a long day he thought getting out of the car
