It had been 3 weeks since the last appointment and Liam and Zayn have their appointment on Sunday morning and it was currently Saturday night and Liam and Zayn decided to try their hand at backing to waste some time

but neither of them knew how to bake and Liam wouldn't let Zayn even try to do it properly as he kept making up stupid jokes that made Zayn laugh and forget what he was doing or just look so adorable that Zayn would lose track of what he was doing

"We should get a dog," Liam says as Zayn tries to measure the sugar for the biscuits
"and why is that?" Zayn asks putting down the sugar next to the bowl
"so he can go for runs with me because someone else won't," Liam said with a pout
"yeah because another somebody goes way to fast" Zayn answers back and then kisses Liam's pout away
"but I get lonely by myself," Liam said and Zayn just shook his head fondly and went back to measuring the sugar

"So," Liam says as he pokes Zayn inn the ribs causing him to flinch
"So what?" Zayn asks like an impatient mother or teacher
"So you, me and the bathtub," Liam says with a hopeful smile
"No, Nope, No I told you sex ban until tomorrow's appointment and then depending on the outcome it could extend to around 9 months" Zayn smirks turning around to kiss his husbands lips
"you are lucky I'd do anything for you and our baby," Liam said with a slight smirk
"Is that so?" Zayn asked raising an Eyebrow and Liam just nods "I'll keep that in mind, baby"
"that doesn't sound good what are you plotting princess," Liam says smirk widening because he only ever calls Zayn princess during sex and he knew it got his cock stitching the same ay Liams did at being called daddy although the thing was Zayn also knew that
"two can play at that game," Zayn says turning background to oven to check the failing biscuits and then back to face Liam "Daddy" is all he says before walking into their shared bedroom

Liam's penis did twitch at the sight and the word and he wanted to follow Zayn and take him on right then and there but he didn't for two reasons 1. because the biscuits are still in the oven and 2. because Zayn asked him not to and he would do anything for Zayn even though he is pretty positive that sex does not affect the baby if there is a baby

Liam waits in the kitchen until the timer goes off for the biscuits so he takes them out of the oven they don't look too bad Liam thought as he put them down on the bench but he knew they would taste horrible they'd give them to Harry and Louis he thought or maybe Niall considering how bad they'd probably taste

Liam sighs turning off the oven before walking into his bedroom to see Zayn hugging a soft toy that Liam had got him on one of their first dates he was almost asleep but looked up at Liam and made grabby hands for him to come so Liam did chucking his t-shirt somewhere on the floor and then getting in bed to snuggle with Zayn

"you're my favourite teddy bear Leeyum," Zayn said in a small but firm voice
"and you are my favourite Zebra," Liam said as he yawned "goodnight my baby Zebra"
"goodnight Lamb," Zayn said before they both fell asleep

the next morning they woke up late which Liam took as a blessing he couldn't stand just waiting around for the appointment but Zayn freaked out running around the house like a mad man yelling at Liam to get ready

they didn't have time for breakfast according to Zayn although Liam definitely  thought they did but didn't want to argue with his husband in his current state so sighed as his stomach growled and then got into the car

they arrived at the doctor's office a little late but it wasn't that bad and they did have time for breakfast Liam thought  but as the doctor called there name  all of his thought disappeared all he could think about was the baby if they were going to to have a baby

"First things first just a normal pregnancy test," the doctor said and Zayn nodded and took the container and went the bathroom while Liam just sat there awkwardly Zayn was finished quickly and he gave his container to the doctor who thanked them and left the room

"sooo... you think we are going to have a baby?" Zayn said as he cuddles into Liam trying to hide and calm his nerves
"I hope so, but I have no idea," Liam says resting his head in Zayn's shoulder "do you feel pregnant?"  he asks
"I don't know, but my head tells me I am"Zayn sighs it had only been a minute since the doctor left the room with Zayn urine but they both felt like they had been there for years it took a few more minutes until the doctor came back in

Liam arms immediately wraps  around Zayn and Zayn sinks a little more into Liam
"So I have good news and bad news," the doctor says reading from his clipboard and it doesn't make the couple feel any better or less nervous about what he was about to say

"good news is you are pregnant" The doctor smiles and so did  Liam and Zayn they both almost shed a tear until Zayn remembered that the bad news was still to come

"But you are still only a few weeks along (3) and given your situation with infertility this is one of the hardest times" the doctor explained and Liam and Zayn's heart fell
"so we are having a baby but there is a big possibility of a miscarriage," Liam said trying to decode what the doctor had just said

"not huge just bigger than other couples," he said calmly because his probably done this quite a few times Liam and Zayn just sighed they couldn't have their first ultrasound yet as it might not pick up on the baby anyway
