it had been a week since that day and now they were looking after Eddie while Louis and Harry were at Harry's first obstetrician appointment Liam and Zayn had found some comfort knowing that another person was feeling the same way they did when Harry talked about anything baby related and on everything to do with babies

they promised each other two things that day 1. that they won't let this end them and 2. that they will have a baby and those promises both the boys intended on keeping neither knew how anything was going to work but they didn't care they just knew it would happen

after looking after Eddie for about an hour Louis and Harry came to pick him up they even gave Zayn and Liam a picture of the ultrasound like they excepted the pair to put it on their fridge as a constant reminder of there sturgles to have a baby of there own so once they left Liam throws the picture out he doesn't want to be mean but he doesn't want to look at the picture ever again

today Liam and Zayn were roads tripping to Bradford to see Zayn family and they both were excited to see his family but also incredibly nervous they haven't really spoken about there struggles to have a baby with either of there families or anyone else but each other and they don't plan on doing it any time soon

but they both know as soon as they get there the questions are all going to be baby related because first you get married then comes the baby. but they pack the car and get ready to drive throughout the night to arrive in the morning

"I love you Zebra, remember that and remember that I'm here for you I understand what you are going through 100 per cent" Liam say kissing Zayn before starting the car

"I know Lamb and I love you too, we'll always have each other it is us against the world baby," Zayn says the last part trying to sound like some sort of villain but it just makes Liam chuckle at how adorable his husband is

after a long drive, they ended up at Zayn's parents' house they stop before getting out of the car Zayn just looked over at Liam placing his hand on top of his

"we'll be ok," Zayn says and he doesn't know if he's saying talking to Liam or telling himself Liam doesn't know either so he just nods and leans over the hand console to kiss Zayns forehead who just gives him a small smile in return then they both get out of the car leaving their things in the car

they knock and the door and Safaa opened the door as if she had been waiting for them to arrive which she probably was she runs straight up to Zayn and gave him a bone-crushing hug she probably missed Zayn the most out of his whole family they were really close before Zayn left to move in with Liam

Safaa didn't like Liam for a while because 'he was taking her Zayn' but after a little while and a long chat that ended up with Liam buying her ice cream she ended up liking Liam but she still didn't like Zayn living away

Safaa basically had to be pulled off her older brother by Waliyha who then also throws herself onto Zayn and safaa hugs Liam

"Hope you are taking good care of him" she says looking up at Liam
"I try" Liam says because it's all he can say honestly

they walk into the living room where Doniya and Zayns parents they greet everyone before sitting down while Tricia runs around the kitchen trying to make the boys some food Safaa sets her self up on Zayns knee and snuggles into the crook of his neck while Liam sits next to the pair

"does he still make you happy?" Safaa whispers in her brothers ear even though everyone can hear her "because there is a spare bedroom here there is even room in my bedroom if you want it" and everyone in the room starts to chuckle at her cuteness but she just huffs and crosses her arms while she waits for Zayn's answer and honestly Liam is tuning out the laughter to hear what he says as well

"He does, Saf, he makes me so happy" Zayn smiled and pecked his husband on the lips only to be pulled apart by pulled apart by the young girl making them all start to laugh again Liam rests his head on Zayn shoulder knowing what conversation is probably going to start and as Tricia walks back into the room she brings up the dreaded topic

"so you've been married for almost 2 years now when am I getting grandbabies?" she says happily almost in a joking tone but it doesn't make the boy's even attempent to fake smile
"whenever it happens" Zayn answers holding Liam hand and intring there fingers as he squeezes it as if a reminder that Liam is also going through thee same thing with him

"But you should start trying at least you don't want to be old parents" Yaser adds and it makes Liam and Zayn want to cry because it was ther greatest fear not being able to have a baby and they aren't getting any younger and Zayn knows Liams worries about it lot he knows that he is scared that when they do have a baby he'll be too old to play with them like he would've liked

they just nod before exusing themselves to the guest bedroom where they will be spending the night they just held each other neither of them wanted to cry but it was an impossible task

Liam ends up going to the car to grab there stuff while Zayn is still trying not to cry but failing miserably when Liam gets back he takes of his husbands t-shirt and then his pants and then pulls a pair of his own sweatpants on to him knowing that Zayn loves to wear Liams clothes then Liam tucks both of them in kissing Zayn on the forehead before both of them fall asleep
