He knocked on Louis door and waited a little bit until he heard some movement inside and the door opened to reveal Louis he had bright red glossy eyes from crying so much and he was wearing a pair of Harry's tracksuit pants which were obviously too big on him and he paired with a T-shirt of harry's that was also too big making him look a lot smaller than he already was Zayn didn't say anything he just walked inside and closed the door behind him

Setting the bags he was holding down on the kitchen counter before walking toward Louis and wrapping his arms around him resting his head on top of Louis and rubbing his back they stayed like that for a bit eventually Zayn also broke into tears thinking about the fact that he and Liam may never have a baby thinking about how Liam might leave him if they don't have a baby even though he said that he wouldn't

after a little while, Zayn and Louis hadn't said a word to each other they just sat on the couch watching some shitty reality tv show when Louis starts to speak

"His pregnant you know?" Louis said out of nowhere he sounded almost sad and Zayn didn't know if he wanted to throw something at him for being lucky enough not to have one but two kids by accident and then not be happy as ever but then he remembered Harry leaving so his anger settled

"I was planning on proposing to him that's why Liam came over yesterday" Louis continued Zayn kinda felt a bit sad that Liam didn't tell him that his best friend was planning to propose to his boyfriend but he knows Liam would've promised not to say anything and Liam never breaks a promise "So I asked him to take Eddie out for a bit," Louis says trying not to start crying again

"He was trying to tell me about the pregnancy through hints and I didn't pick up on them but he thought I did and he thought I didn't want Eddie or the new baby so he took Eddie to the park while I was with Liam but he didn't come back and he told me he needs time to think" Louis gave up on not crying and now had tears pouring out of his eyes so Zayn slides closer to him and tucks his arm around him slowly rubbing his back

"What am I supposed to do Zayn I can't lose Harry and I really want to be part of Eddie's and the new baby's life," Louis says but it is sort of muffled because his head is in his hands

"you propose, " is all Zayn says it makes Louis look up at him with a confused what are you talking about sort of facial expression "don't give me that look" Zayn adds and Louis only gives him an are you serious look "ok maybe you don't propose then and there but you explain to him why you asked him and Eddie to leave yesterday" Zayn adds trying to stay nonchalant "come on I'll drive" Zayn finishes pulling Louis up with him and practically pushing him out the door and into his car

they drive in silence once they pull up in front of Anne's house Zayn realises this might be harder then he thought Harry's probably told his mum and Gemma something about what happened so they are surely not going to like Louis at the moment but Zayn decides not to tell Louis as he is slowly getting out of the car

Zayn knocks on the door that is opened by a Gemma who has Eddie resting on her hip playing with his favourite toy train Eddie sees Louis and makes grabby hands to him so Gemma pulls him away from Louis which only makes Eddie scream

"Daddy, Daddy, Daddy," Eddie says before he starts hitting Gemma's arm that his underneath him and then he starts crying Gemma knows she should probably give him to Louis but after remembering her crying brother upstairs he tells the boys to wait there before handing Eddie to his grandmother coming back to the door she starts again

"Why are you here?" she says as if she was some kind of high school mean girls
"Louis wants to see Harry," Zayn says looking at Louis and knowing he won't be able to have a conversation with anyone but harry
"Well he can't, Harry doesn't want to see him he left him," Gemma says crossing her arms and leaning on the Door frame
"He left me actually" Louis speaks up surprisingly "I just want to talk to him please Gemma let me just speak to him I promise I won't hurt him anymore and if I can't see him please at least let me see my baby boy" Louis practically begs Gemma and it seems to work because Gemma sighs and opens the door

"He's upstairs you can talk to him but if you hurt him, even more, you better not ever show your face around here ever again" Gemma huffs as they all walk in Louis nods before practically running upstairs Gemma and Zayn sit down on the awkwardly and wait Eddie who was playing on the floor crawls over to Zayn and pulls himself up on to Zayn knees and starts to pull his hair Zayn laughs a little before his mood drops thinking about how Louis and Harry can so easily have a baby like it is nothing while he and Liam have been trying for almost two years and they still don't have a baby of there own

Gemma seems to notice the change in Zayn's mood as she wraps a comforting hand on his and whispered

"you two will have a baby I know it" giving Zayn a kiss on his cheekbone and Zayn just gives her a weak smile in return not knowing how exactly to answer her and then they hear a loud moan coming from the room above them and they both start to giggle as they here Anne walking upstairs and telling the Louis "you've had as already got my son pregnant twice so there was no need for any of that"
