it was now 1 am and Zayn got another sharp pain which he has been having since the first one and he is almost sure that this labour but didn't want to wake up Liam who was blissfully unaware of Zayn's almost constant pain

but then Zayn felt warm liquid running down his leg and the pain intensified he knew it had to wake up his sleeping husband so he did at first Liam groaned checking the time than telling Zayn to go back to sleep but then Zayn said

"It's time" and it takes Liam a minute to understand what time it is but he blames that on the early time "I'm going to have a baby," Zayn says loudly then repeating it a few times more quietly as Liam rushes around to get the bags

"We are going to have a baby, Zebra we" Liam corrects like usual as he lifts Zayn and takes into the car before starting to go only to be interrupted by a contraction that to Liam looked like it hurt like hell

they finally make it to the hospital it only took them about 10 minutes but it felt like a lifetime to them because they were going to be parents today

Zayn is put into a wheelchair and wheeled into a private room where a nurse tells them that he is only 4 cm dilated telling the boys it'll be a long night/day but both the men were just happy to be at the hospital having their baby boy

it took a very long time it had been almost 9 hours since they arrived at the hospital and Zayn had only just dilated all 10 cm and was now being wheeled into a birthing room as Liam got into scrubs and then joining them

Zayn pushed for 15 minutes before they heard the screams of their baby, their baby rip through the room he was placed on Zayn's chest as Liam cut the cord then joined Zayn just staring at their  baby boy

"We made this" Zayn says crying
"We did and we did a pretty good job of it if you ask me," Liam said rubbing the newborn's cheek they stared like that for a while just looking into his eyes and feeling the love before the nurse came back into the room

"So do you boys have a name?" she asked politely while he was being cleaned and Zayn already missed having him in his arms but once he was all clean Zayn told Liam to hold his son for the first time

"Yeah, his name is Atlas" Zayn smiled looking at his two boys who were sitting on the bed next to him "Atlas Javadd" Liam adds smiling at Atlas who they both can't take their eyes off

"oh I love the name," the nurse says before telling them that she'll leave them alone for a little bit

"This is so weird his here in the real world with us," Liam said as he handed Atlas to Zayn again "you did so good baby I am so proud of you" he added and Zayn just gratefully smiled before the nurse came in again to tell them that both Zayn and baby needed some rest Liam decided to call their family's while they were asleep

he first called his mum which ended up in her crying and congratulating them asking him what the name was but Liam told her that she'll have to wait until she meets him

then he called Zayn's mum who had a similar reaction and then lasts but not least Harry and Louis who just wanted to know who the baby looked more a like but Liam said it was too early to tell

Atlas was now a few days old and he was going to be meeting his extended family for the first time they were still in hospital just to make sure that everyone stays ok

first, just grandparents come in to meet him
"So what's his name," Geoff asks looking at the sleeping baby in his wife's arms
"Atlas" Liam says smiling down at his husband still laying in the bed
"Atlas Javadd" Zayn said leaning up to kiss Liam's jaw

After the grandparents had been in the room for about half an hour not being able to take their eyes away from the baby Liam went out side to tell there sisters that they could come in and meet him

the five girls walked into room squealing a little when they saw the baby Yaser who was holding him handed him to Donyia as the other girls wrapped around her to look at him while Safaa makes a dash for Zayn wrapping her arms around him

Zayn smiled hugging his sister back rubbing her back as he did

"Hey Safaa" Zayn said sitting up a little bit more to get more comfortable
"Is that really your baby?" She asked as Liam got up off Zayn's bed so she could sit down

Ruth who was now holding Atlas gave him to Zayn & then everyone but Liam & Safaa left the room

"Yeah Safaa, this is Atlas his our baby" Zayn said as he smiled at Liam he could never get tired of telling people they had a baby a baby that was half him & half Liam

"Can I hold him?" Safaa asks quietly because she was quite nervous But zayn just nodded putting his baby in his sisters lap she smiled

"Hello Atlas,I'm Safaa I'm your pappy's little sister I guess that makes me your aunty but that makes me sound very old so you can just call me Safaa" she whispered to the baby & Zayn felt his heart about to explode with all the cuteness

"I'll be your best friend if you want" she says kissing his forehead & Zayn notices Liam also looking at the pair on the bed with heart eyes
Liam picks up Atlas as Safaa hugs Zayn one last time before joining the rest of her family outside

"I love you, but you look horrible" Liam says
"Thanks babe" Zayn laughs
"I'll look after Atlas you go to sleep we have a big day tomorrow" Liam said as Zayn was almost asleep anyway
