A/N: Before I begin I want to say thank you on such a long journey that led to the completion of the story, I know some of you have waited a long time for the end chapters to come and my inconsistency was not helping. Thanks for bearing with me because I have been in and out of myself but all of your love and support have definitely driven me to complete this story and I am actually proud of it.

I want to mention I did say that this was going to be the final chapter but it ended up being wayyyy longer than I thought it'd be ( I was going into 20,000 words) so I decided to cut it in half for you guys and figured as an early Christmas gift you get this chapter a few days ahead and then the official last one Christmas Eve since most of you will probably be enjoying your gifts and spending time with family to want to do anything Christmas Day.

I also want to say that this story does cut so every section there is a time pass just so you could see the progress of a year going by and what is happening at a much faster pace, this doesn't mean I rushed on the chapter though this was just the best writing style to use for this and the final chapter. Obviously it'll say how much time has passed somewhere through your if not in the beginning but if not there are hints that it's still the same day.

There is a lot of language and some mature scenes so in case some of you readers don't enjoy that kind of stuff you can skip it or leave or whatever floats your boat. I think that is all I have to say though, enjoy the chapter (about 16,600 words) you guys and Happy Holidays!! – Nikky❤️

"But you know you're going to have to tell Levi about him if you do plan on getting together." Levi stopped himself the second he was midway of reaching for the door handle when he heard what his wife just enunciated. His mind first drew a blank, expression unwavering but perplexed, a brow raised as he squints his eyes in question. If it weren't for the fact that he didn't wanted the clean up a puddle of water he would've squeeze the life out of that plastic cup he held for Petra.

"What?" He mutters through gritted teeth, poorly attempting to suppress the urge to storm in there and demand what they were talking about. Levi could match the pieces of the picture well and knew they had to be talking about that little fuck he still so desperately wanted to kill. It took a lot, and it sure as hell took a lot to play it off as if he hadn't eavesdropped on them bargaining for a hopeful future.

"Well, you have a year to figure it out." Figure what out? What would happen in a year?

Levi could feel the bones in his knuckles of his free hand cracking but not sense the amount of pain he was dealing. Stepping back after gathering himself, Levi is reminded that right now this was about Petra and their newborn after a couple of breaths, not whatever secrecy they were whispering behind his back. For now he'd pretend it was nothing, that he wasn't stalling time to enter to calm his deeply exasperated nerves.

"Levi, what took so long?" Petra inquired about her husband's prolonged absence when Levi opens the door to her room and closes it behind him. She's looking at him inquisitively with Mikasa looking deceptively innocent as she came. It was actually scary how good they both were at altering their behavior in the split of a millisecond with no problem.

"I had to wait for a doctor to refill the cups for me to be able to get you water,"  He explains vaguely though enough for her not to suspect him of listening in on their sketchy ass colloquy. Thankfully, and blatantly to no surprise, it was a convincing pitch.
