Chapter 3: Herbology and Howler

The First class of the Day was Herbology .
Everyone was up and ready waiting for Professor Sprout to arrive.
"Wonder what we are learning" Sophie said with a Big grin .
"Not sure" Katie said back.
"What's the Professor like" Ron asked.
"I haven't really talked to her that much"
"Past Amelia" Ron said trying to grab her attention
"Ye Ron" Amelia asked.
"What's the Professor like" Ron asked while everyone was looking right at Amelia.
"Oh, um she's very nice, you will love her" Amelia said with a smile.
"Hold on" Sophie said
"Where's Nat?"
Amelia shook her head
"She said she would be here on time"
"Maybe she is with Nicole" Katie said.
"Who knows" Amelia said.
Just then Natalie sneaks in behind Amelia.
"Sprout here yet" Natalie whispered
"No now come on" Amelia said pulling Natalie from the ground.
"And I thought we were bad" Harry laughed.
"Ha ha Potter" Natalie said back with a little laugh.
"Where were you anyway" Hermione asked giving Natalie her usual look of questions.
"I was caught up with something" Natalie said shyly.
"Hmm" Sophie said with a smirk
"not like that soph don't try" Natalie said laughing"
"Here are the slytherins" Sophie said waving to Nicole.
"Thank Merlin" Natalie said
"Why" Harry asked.
"Sophie won't ask me anymore questions" Natalie said with a sigh.
Harry just nodded "For now anyway" He quietly said .
Natalie just looked at Harry for a second and turned to talk to some other students.
She didn't realize at first but her friends were giggling.
She turned to see Nicole opposite her.
"Nicole aren't you normal-OH" Natalie said jumping back at Amelia.
"Nat" Amelia said grabbing onto Natalie.
"Nice to see you to Davis" Draco said rolling his eyes.
Natalie stared at Nicole.
"What I gave him my spot" Nicole said with a wink.
"He asked anyway" Nicole said smirking.
"I did not" Draco said
"Oooo" Sophie said.
Natalie just face palms at the situation.
"What is it with them" Natalie whispered to Amelia.
"Because you two are friendly" Amelia whispered back.
Natalie just sighed got back up.
Natalie was trying her hardest not to just over to them and Just scream why.
Natalie let out another sigh and tried to ignore him.

Thankfully Professor Sprout walked into the room.
"morning everyone" Sprout said hitting the table to get the class attention.
"Welcome to greenhouse three second years , now gather round" Sprout said watching everyone move close together to see what she was showing them.
"Today we will be repotting mandrakes"
"Can anyone tell be about them" Sprout asked.
The second she said it Hermione put her hand up which gave Gryffindor house points.
"Their scream could knock you out for a few hours so I gave all of you ear muffs" Sprout said pointing at everyone's desk.
"You are kidding" Natalie whispered.
"Nope" Amelia whispered back
Everyone put on their earmuffs and watched Professor sprout.
The second she pulled it out everyone grabbed their ears .
"Bloody hell" Ron said
"WHAT THE" was all Natalie and most of the class could let out
Suddenly Neville fell to the ground.
"Longbotton neglected his earmuffs again" Sprout asked.
"No miss , he just fainted" Nicole mentioned.
"Oh just leave him their" Sprout said.
"Wha" Natalie said looking over to Neville and the others.
"Now you all try" Sprout said pointing at the pots .
The screams were horrendous. Natalie quickly did hers along with Sophie.
Natalie looked to see Draco putting his fingers near the mandrakes mouth.
"Umm Draco I woul"
"OUCH" Draco said looking at the mandrake.
Natalie put her head down trying to not make eye contact.
"Don't, laugh" Draco said in an angry tone which just set Natalie off into a laughing fit.
Draco just looked at Natalie and the others laughing , Draco just kept his angry face but seeing Natalie laugh gave him a bit of relief.
"At least she's not that mad at me" Draco thought.
After a while even Draco had to hold back a laugh.
"I saw that" Harry said with a smirk.
Draco just went wide eyed.
"Shut up Potter" Draco said looking away.
"Boys play nice" Sophie said laughing.
"Shut up Henderson" Draco said with a snarl.
"Watch ya mouth Malfoy" Harry said
Sophie looked at Draco and then Natalie "remember Malfoy" Sophie whispered.
Draco just looked at Natalie and turned away.
Seeing even a little interaction Draco had with the others that wasn't being was calming to Natalie even if it wasn't the nicest.
"Better than nothing" Katie said laughing at both Harry and Draco.
~Later~

After Herbology and a few other classes they all had a break in the Great hall.
Ron was sitting at the Gryffindor's table taping his wand together.
"I'm doomed" Ron said to Harry which Harry agreed.
"How did you break the wand" Amelia said walking past them.
"Oh hi Amelia" Harry said.
"It was when we had the accident" Ron said looking down.
Amelia just shook her head, "no surprise"
"Better than your head" Natalie said coming up behind Amelia.
"Oh hey Nat" Amelia said.
"Still"Ron said looking at his wand.
"Dinny worry too much" Natalie said which left Ron confused.
"What" Harry said.
"I can't use any slang can I" Natalie said laughing.
"DONT worry I mean" Natalie said rolling her eyes.
"Oh and by the way" Natalie said leaning over to Ron .
"How's you and Katie" Natalie whispered.
"What" Ron said going all red.
"I thought you two" Natalie questions.
"Oh no no we are just friends" Ron said going red in the face.
Natalie and Harry burst out laughing.
"I'm kidding" Natalie said giving Ron a hug.
"You two are just that close" Harry said still laughing a little.
"Of that's the case you and Sophie are the same" Ron said smirking.
"Boys chill they won't go anywhere" Natalie said walking to her seat laughing.
Amelia just shook her head and followed Natalie.
Natalie and Amelia chatted with other Hufflepuffs about classes and other things till they head a loud sound from the Gryffindor's table.
"RONALD WEASLEY, HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR" the voice said.
"Shoot he got a howler" Amelia said.
"A what" Natalie asked.
"It's a letter that can talk" Amelia said.
"Oh" Natalie said.
Natalie walked over to Hermione to see what it was.
It was a little red letter that it's paper became teeth.
"IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE WILL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME" The howler shouted.
The whole time everyone felt the second hand embarrassed Ron felt hearing it.
Natalie looked over to the slytherin Table to see Nicole holding back laughter.
Nicole noticed Natalie which made her laughing worse.
Natalie just mouthed no to her trying not to laugh herself.
Nicole put her head on the table trying to hide her laughing.
Everyone on the slytherin table just looked at Nicole confused.
"Geez calm it West" Crabbe said.
"Can't help it" Nicole said wiping a tear.
Pancy just looked at Nicole up and down.
"Problem" Nicole said changing her mood really fast.
Pancy just scoffed and rolled her eyes.
Nicole almost was going to say something till she was cut off.
"Ignore her" Draco said not even making eye contact.
"Surprise you are talking Draco" Nicole said putting her arms on the table.
Draco just looked at Nicole and looked down again at what he was doing.

Everything went quiet after Ron's howler. Most of Draco's friends walked off .
"Not joining them" Nicole asked Draco confused.
"Don't feel like it" Was all Draco said looking at what appeared to be a letter.
Nicole stayed quiet for a second.
"You can join us if you want" Nicole asked which just made Draco scoff.
"Just asking to be nice" Nicole said walking off.
" you have been around Davis and Bright for two long" Draco said rolling his eyes.
"Same goes to you Malfoy" Nicole said walking off to the others .
"What, I don't go near Bright" Draco says.
Nicole turned to look at Draco "so you go near nat" Nicole said smiling.
"Nicole you little" Draco said getting up.
"See you Draco" Nicole said laughing while running to the others.
Everyone was excited to see Nicole again and all walked together to their next class while Draco slowly followed behind, trying not to come across as weird.
