This chapter is for all of you reading this. I know you all probably hate me right now and you have every right to. I know I haven't updated in like five months. Probably more. And I'll tell you why.
Lately, I've been working on a story that I think is going to be the start of my future writing career when it gets published. I know it's a long shot, but I'll keep writing until it's the best one out there. Hopefully, people will read it and say, 'Wow, I can't believe that was actually written by a teenager.'
So I switched all of my attention to reading different articles on grammar and stuff. I reached out and got some help from my ELA teacher and family members. They all helped me become a better writer over the course of a couple months. So you might see a lot of grammatical changes in the next upcoming chapters.
Yup, you read it right. I will try my best to update this story. Unlike my past messages, I can't guarantee anything. No more promises. I already let down a lot of people by not focusing on this story.
Truth is, I really want to focus on my other story. I won't be adding that story here however. You'll have to get it from a bookstore one day, and read it like that :)
On another note, I would like to address the COVID-19 issue. I know we're all going through a hard time, and I just want to let you all know that we're all in this together. So if you feel like you're the only one, just know that everyone else feels the same way. That's what I tell myself sometimes when I feel like no one knows what I'm going through or something like that.
We all have our flaws. One of mine is not keeping promises. Another one of mine is not doing homework on time (Eight grade is killing me right now.) But just like all of you, I'm still trying my best.
With that being said, I'll try to update sometime soon. Like I said, no guarantees or promises. So don't get your hopes up. But in the meantime, feel free to check out any of my other stories. I know I haven't updated those in a while either, so some of them are unfinished.
I have been reading some of your stories as well lately, and they're all great. I really love all of the Wattpad community. Thank you all for reading this.
