(Y/N'S POV)

I was sitting here, waiting for my date to arrive.         
   "Well, fuck what's taking them so long?", I whispered to myself. I called them again & again over the past ten minutes & still, no answer.

  I waited.

  & waited.

   & waited.

   Nothing.

  I looked around the big restaurant & layed eyes on an attractive man. He was wearing, what it had appeared to be an expensive Valentino suit, something that probably costed my whole rent. I gazed at him for at least 30 seconds, until he glared at me back, I hurried & looked away.

It felt like hours since my date has arrived so I decided to get up and call a taxi home, it was getting late anyway. I got up from the table and walked towards the front door. Right when I was going to open the door, a man, THAT man opened it for me.

I thought to myself, "God, those black gloves are salacious.", before I even told him "Thank you", he had already introduced himself to me.

"Hi.", he greeted me.
   "Oh, hey.", I replied.
   "I saw you staring at me a few minutes ago. can I help you?", he asked.
   I cackled, "No, I was just y'know looking around. It's my first time here."
   "I see. What's your name?", he inquired.
   "Y/N", I told the man.
   "Great. I'm Patrick, Patrick Bateman. I work at Pierce & Pierce.", he informed me.
   "Good to know, Patrick. Well, it's pretty frigid out here so I'm actually gonna get going, nice to meet you.", I said.
   "Before you leave, you should give me a call.", Patrick advised me while handing me a business card. which I'm guessing it was his.
I took it & waved a goodbye & Patrick just nodded and smiled. I watched as he got back inside Dorsia.

I called a cab as quick as possible because it was freezing out in Manhattan. It finally arrived & I told him my destination.

I got home in a rush. I took a steaming hot shower & all I could think about was Patrick, Patrick Bateman. A bizarre but utterly hot man. I wanted to infer more about him.
