Main P.O.V.

Kim Taehyung.

That one name no one thought of.

That one person no one suspected of.

That one plot twist no one was ready for.

Taehyung smiled; his usual huge and beautiful smile. Only now, it doesn't appear as lovely as it was before.

Moon Byul took a few steps back, keeping close to her upside down friends. Everyone was just holding their breaths in total terror and awe, well, who wouldn't?

"W-why?" Jin croaked, despite his upside down view.

Taehyung has always been 'the good guy'.

How the heck did he end up as the... blackbird?

His question sent Taehyung from smiling to simply chuckling. He tucked both his hands into the front pouch of his hoodie, and started walking around like it was his territory.

"Ah. I've always wanted to see your reactions, but when I really get it, it's not that fun anymore." He said, taking slows steps as he circled the five confused people in the middle of the room.

He glanced at them, grinning.

"Five little birdies... lost in the woods." His voice dropped low. "If nobody  finds them- well, nobody should."

Moon Byul swallowed a heavy and hard lump, sweat beginning to soak her back as her pupils followed Taehyung's movement across the room. She began walking too, using her body as a shield to protect her friends because she was the only one who could move.

Taehyung could charge towards them at any given moment, so she has to be ready.

"Fck you." She spat as Taehyung silently looked around the room. Then he stopped, fixing his gaze onto Moon Byul's angry face.

"I'm impressed." His tone dropped low. "But not impressed enough. I mean, I was so intrigued to find out who took my place, but when I found out it was not one, but five people? Geeeez. They had to recruit five people just to fill in my spot, when I was so damn perfect already?"

"Perfect your ass!" Gray replied, bouncing as he tried to move.

"Calm down, Gray, I know you did some research on me. You've been keeping it to yourself from a while, right? Why don't you just keep it to yourself a little bit longer? Let me enlighten you all on some interesting things."

"Why are you doing this?!" Jin shrieked, but still unable to accept the very fact that Taehyung was behind everything. "This doesn't make ANY SENSE! I've known you for so long, Kim Taehyung!"

The man in the hoodie scoffed, raising a brow. Despite having such a beautiful face, his vibe was nothing but terrifying.

"When you changed the patrol schedule and put your name in there, did you really think I was that stupid to not notice? Hello? In that freaking big brain of yours, did you really think I- Kim Taehyung, would not notice the change?" He chuckled as he glanced at Jin.
