light invaded the darkness of my room, forcing me to wake up. i roll to my side and stretch out across my bed before reaching out to my phone. i check the time and see it's 12:45pm. jeez i need to fix my sleep schedule. i open my messages to see a few notifications.

i get up with a smile and begin to search through my closet, in hopes to find a good outfit to wear to the meeting. i want to wear something that will represent me and my music. something edgy but also sad but also vibey... ugh why is that three different outfits.

i decide on this outfit that matches none of the above before walking into the kitchen and deciding to have some breakfast. i put some toast in the toaster before calling jiwoo "hey cutie" i say as i hear her answer. "good morning. it's unusual for you to be chipper at this time. when did you wake up?" she asks. "mmm maybe like half an hour ago? but also i kinda have news. well maybe two lots of news after this afternoon." i say with a huge grin on my face when i hear her gasp as i place the toast on a plate. "YOU CANT JUST LEAVE ME ON A CLIFFHANGER LIKE THAT!" she yells into the phone and i let out an evil giggle. "come to the boys dorm this afternoon, i'll tell you when i tell them" i say and hear her groan. "text me the address and the time" she angrily mumbles. i place the phone down and begin to spread the vegemite that my mum sent me on the toast. i bite into it as i sit down on the couch and smile at the thought of possibly going home again. i open my phone to check twitter and decide to post.

i finish my food and brush my teeth before deciding to get bubble tea. i fill my purse with the essentials before walking up the hall to Eun Ae's door. i knock softly but the door pushes open. i walk in to see her peacefully snoring away on the couch with hwan on her lap. hwan starts to excitedly jump and Eun Ae stirs and i quickly but silently run over to him to pick him up. hoping that it didn't wake her, i quickly scribble a note on the table next to her saying:
'good afternoon Eun Ae! you're currently sleeping and i don't want to wake you but i've taken hwan for a little walk. i'm just going to get a drink so i might be back before you even wake up! love, y/n :)'
i pick up hwan's leash and we leave the apartment. as i walk down the street hwan excitedly criss-crosses across the pathway causing me to smile. i reach the bubble tea store and pick him up and he happily sits in my arms. i place my order and move to the side to wait. a few minutes pass and my drink is bought to me and i take a seat on the cute little chairs outside of the shop. i place hwan down and tie his leash to one of the chair legs and he flops down and begins to sleep. jiwoo always says that hwan is me as a dog, someone who sleeps way too much. i suddenly feel my phone buzz in my purse and take it out to see a notification from twitter.

i put my phone down and smile at what i hope will become a good friendship. i look down to see hwan sleeping with his legs sticking out and decide to take a photo. i look out onto the streets to see a couple happily walking together, holding hands with large smiles on their faces and it feels like a wave of inspiration hits me. i quickly pick my phone back up and open the notes app and begin typing lyrics.
i write and write until the 20% warning snaps me out of my haze. holy shit. i look down to check if hwan is there and find him still asleep and i giggle. i check the time and see it's 2:15. holy shit. i quickly wake up hwan and leave the bubble tea shop before speed walking home. i enter the apartment building at 2:30 and quickly walk towards Eun Ae's door. i knock on the door and she quickly answers "aaish, i'm so sorry Eun Ae, i started writing lyrics and i completely lost track of time, but i- oh my gosh! i forgot to tell you! im meeting with a music company today, and i'm almost late i promise i'll tell you all about" i say extremely quickly and she laughs lightly before taking hwan off me. "go get em!" she exclaims with a proud smile before i run back out of the building.
