Kairi told Cami to meet him at the lake in 15 minutes. she rushed to the place where she saw him sitting on the edge with his legs up to his chest. 

she immediately knew he needed someone to hold. so she bend on her knees and hugged him tightly. Cami could tell he'd desired this for a long time. Kairi sobbed as she played with his hair.

what'd you want to talk to me about , Kai? -she asked softly-

he pulled away from the hug.

-he sniffed- about me... and my nervousness.

it started when i met this girl Kayla. she was just perfect for me. her eyes, her soft skin and that silky hair. she.. looked just like you. she was in my Chemistry class. i would spent all day watching her. by that time i had never fallen in love. i didn't even know the real meaning. so as dumb as it may sound, i grabbed a dictionary and looked for it. i remember it clear as day;

we started talking and soon became friends. i loved spending time with her. even when she was the school's popular girl. i wasn't the ''nerd'' or the ''fuckboy'' . i was just someone without a tag. i was simply me. but decided to change for her. i started working out and bought another style of clothes. she was amazed by the new me. and i was too. life was going great. i was gonna pick her up for a date on a Saturday night. when i heard her over the phone talking about me and how i was just a bet. she played me. i changed everything for her and get payed by this?! i don't know what i did wrong. i just ran outside her house and to mine. i told my mom and she said that we could visit my aunt here in Smallville. i said it was okay. and you know the rest. but god, it's just so hard. while she was the world to me, i was nothing to her. nothing. literally nothing. i now, act nervous around everyone, because i'm afraid they'll be like her. i don't wanna suffer again. -he shooked his head-

well, those are things that happen, you know. but at a point, you're gonna have to get over that and just move on. friends are something necessary in a human's life. you gotta have someone to hold. people don't deserve to be alone for the rest of their lives just for a past mistake. so, now i'm going to help you get over this. ok?

no problem, Kai. i'm here for you. -she smiled and he hugged her-

a calming sensation ran through Cami's body. she felt.. safe. she wanted to hold him like this forever. she smiled at the thought of helping him move on.

how about a swim? -she suggested-

they took off their clothes as they heard thunder but didn't care. both of them walked into the water. Cami went closer to Kairi and wrapped her hands around his neck. he was nervous but her gaze calmed him. he slowly put his hands on her waist making her giggle. she later laid her head on his shoulder as they rocked softly in the water. this was just what Kairi had been wanting since Kayla. having someone to do these things with. rain started pouring but none of them seemed to care. they were just enjoying each other's presence. the two teenagers were soaking wet as they were leaning in. their gazes glued to each other's lips. when a thunder crashed making them both flinch. to later laugh about it. they were back to rocking themselves as Kairi's hands traveled Cam's bare back. and hers went to his hair, which she absolutely loved.
