That Hurts

Wendy's POV

Hi, my name is Wendy Marvell. I'm 14 years old, a middle school student of Yosei Academy, the school of magic, my magic power is called Sky Dragon Slayer. I have three bestfriends named Chelia, Carla and Kobato. We are friends since when I was in fifth grade until now. Carla is like a big sister to me, that's why I admire her. Her magic ability is transformation magic, clairvoyance, and she can see the future events that will happen in about 5 mins. Kobato is like my little sister, she acts like a princess and she's like a brat. Her magic power is Shadow Demon Slayer. And Chelia, (blushes) I uh, I do like her cause she's pretty and sweet. She is a Sky God Slayer mage. She has the same ability as I am but we're different when it comes to healing ability. She can heal herself, while I can restore my own strength. That's why we always team up together during our magic examinations. Our school has a dormitory, our dormitories are split into two. The girls dormitory is located at Magnolia, while the boys dormitory is located in Margarita. Chelia and I shared the room, as well as Carla and Kobato are roommates. We always hangout together during lunch break, after class and even our dayoffs during weekend. Until one day, there's a change in Chelia's behavior.

Wendy: Hey guys. Since that tomorrow is our dayoff, maybe we should go the Water Park, since that today is nearly summer season.
Carla: That's a great idea child! (said it with excitement)
Kobato: Yes! I'm gonna wear my new swimsuit. (Finally, I can show my body shape to Wendy) (blushing)
Chelia: (texting) Uh, guys. I'm sorry, I can't go with you. I do have lots of homeworks to do.
Wendy: Oh come on. We do have homeworks too.
Chelia: But I'm not as smart as you are.
Wendy: Fine. If that's what you want. (hides her sad expression look on her face) Ok guys, we will go to the Water Park at 10 am.
Carla and Kobato: Ok!

After our discussion about our hangout tomorrow, Carla and Kobato headed back to their room. While when I'm doing my homework, I see Chelia is busy texting like she's doing that since the moment we were talking.

Wendy: Hey Chelia.
Chelia: Yes?
Wendy: I guess you're busy texting on someone. Mind if I ask who's the one your texting with?
Chelia: Oh, it's Lyon our classmate. (blushing)
Wendy: Oh, the boy that you like? (hides her jealous look with a smile)
Chelia: Yes. I do have a crush on him.
Wendy: Oh I see.

Why does she likes that playboy instead of me?! And more importantly, why do I like Chelia, I'm a girl too. That's what I thought while I'm trying to make myself busy with my homeworks. Is this the reason why she would not choose to go out with us tomorrow. Is she and that playboy have a date? Damn it! Even though that we are bestfriends, I can not allow that playboy flirts one of my bestfriends. I love them and I don't want to see them hurt or in pain because of him. That's the reason why I'm studying so hard in order to protect them. I already knew that he is a playboy by the time he tries to make friends with me and to get close to me. But I do have my six sense that I can't trust him and that's why I rejected him. After the day that I rejected him, I just heard from our classmates that he is dating Juvia. Juvia is his real girlfriend, I wonder if Chelia knows about it. I don't trust him.

After a few hours of studying, Chelia invites me to join her for dinner and I can't say no to her cause she cooks my favorite dish, a steak.

Wendy: Chelia.
Chelia: Yes Wendy?
Wendy: Thank you for this. (smiles adorably)
Chelia: You're welcome. (She's so cute) You have to eat all this steaks that I made it to you ok.
Wendy: Sure.

Chelia treats me like a child, she's just like my mom. This is one thing that I like about her. After the dinner, Chelia washes the soiled dishes while I clean the table. After a few hours I lay down to my bed and try to sleep. Chelia is still busy texting her playboy crush.

The next day, I woke up at 7 in the morning, and I was surprised when Chelia is not here at this moment. I take a shower and prepare myself for our hangout together. When I came out from the bath, I saw a note saying,

Wendy: As I expected.

I lay down to my bed and still thinking about her, then someone knocks at the door. I stand up and get the door. When I open it, it was Carla and Kobato.

Wendy: Oh hey guys. Come in.
Carla and Kobato: Ok.
Wendy: Do you wanna eat breakfast? Chelia prepared these all for me.
Carla: Where is Chelia?
Wendy: She said that Lyon invites her for a jogging. I think they were together at the park. (looks so sad)
Carla: Really? That playboy?! (surprised)
Wendy: Yes. She said it that Lyon is her crush. (sad tone)
Carla: Wendy are you alright?
Wendy: Yeah.
Carla: Ok. Now let's eat, then we should go to the Water Park.
Wendy and Kobato: Yeah!

After we eat, we go to the Water Park together. We enjoy the giant slides, steam baths, huge pool and a boat ride. After a few moments, I saw Chelia with Lyon at the park when we walk home. Lyon is flirting my bestfriend and Chelia looks like she's having fun with him. Kobato noticed that I'm jealous when I saw them, so she tries to cheer me up.

Kobato: Wendy!
Wendy: Hey, what's up?
Kobato: Don't mind about them, I'm here for you. (blushing) Oh, I mean, Carla and I are always here for you.
Wendy: (smiles) Alright! Let's go home. Did you guys have fun?
Carla and Kobato: Yeah!

We went to our dorm and it's already dark, Chelia hasn't home yet. So I tried to call her. When I call her, she said that she's going to sleep with Lyon at his own villa. So I feel so worried that maybe they can do anything, so I tried to go to Lyon's villa. When I arrived, I saw Lyon's flirting with Chelia in the hotspring together. After a few moments, Lyon noticed my presence, he give me a smirk and he kisses Chelia on the neck. When I see them, I can't help myself but to cry. After I cried, I run and went back home. I hate what I saw what they were doing at the hotspring together, that's an adult thing to do. Well then I tried to forget what I just saw to make me feel better. And later on, I fell asleep while crying on my bed.
