this is highly unusual.
usually [name] would annoy xiao, but now she's been really quiet after going back from a mission. she didn't talk to everyone, not even a single hi or good day or anything, she's really quite. xiao thought maybe she's having a bad day and she needs to be alone, so he didn't say anything to her.
it is almost midnight. he furrows his eyebrows in confusion, everyday [name] would talk to him after she came back from a mission, but she didn't. he thinks about where she could be, so he started to search for her inside wangshu inn and he found her on the top of the building, staring at the stars.

after [name] calmed down, she told xiao about what and who made her like this. so apparently it's a guy who said that she couldn't do any of these missions and she had to quit her job, then xiao being xiao asks her about this guy instead of comforting her, like who is that guy to her, what did he do to spend his day, where did he live.
she just answered his questions without being suspicious to xiao, after he heard all the informations he needed, he let out a frustrated sigh. "i should visit him," he stated with his spear showing up on his grip as he walked past her, immediately [name] knows what his goal is and hold his wrist to stop him.
"you're not gonna hurt him or kill that guy, right?!" she raised her voice to him as he turned around to face her with wide eyes, "i was going to scratch some of his skin but i think killing him will teach him a lesson." xiao confessed and her mouth opens in shock, "did you hit your head?! i'm fine, okay?! it doesn't matter!" she stated with a shout as she shakes his wrist.
he stared at her with pained eyes, the spear on his grip disappeared as he pulled her hand away from his wrist and hold it with both of his hands. "it was... really lonely without you. you're like a part of my life now and when you're gone for a day, i couldn't help but worry."
xiao confessed with pink tints on his cheeks, he looked away from her to hide his blush. [name]'s eyes widened at his confession, then she remembered what that guy said to her,
"you're not needed here! you should be gone!"
she crack a smile and then let out a laugh, xiao panicked because he thought she laughed because of his weird confession. he was going to scold her for that but she stopped, a tear escaped from her eyes as she stared at him with a smile that xiao missed.
"thank you, xiao. it makes me really happy." her eyes shone beautifully, he couldn't help but felt happy for her. his lips curved into a small smile,
please smile more, [name]. because you deserved to be happy.
