I shifted the names a bit, so they're now Hq characters instead of their OC names.

I have changed pretty much to match the Haikyuu boys, and the original plot is a bit modified to make this focus on the others rather than you in person. This is also written in the first-person perspective a bit, which I find less interesting/funny to read when reading x reader. So, please tell me if you prefer second-person perspective.

This is kind of a teaser, I think I'm going to make this a separate novel- I spent like a year writing the original. Aaaah!!!!

We didn't know that it would be like this. We didn't know what was good or bad; that was probably the consequences of living in an uncontrolled society. Or rather, my part of society is uncontrolled; the rest is strictly dominated by the government.

For us, it was indubitable that we were going to be sorted by our abilities and competence. Hence, I wasn't surprised when I got sorted into the worst of them all. Or maybe not worst, though we have the worst conditions compared to the others.

There are 5 aciers; the term comes from the Latin word acies which in our case signifies the differences between us, the walls and lines that differs from each other. You could call the aciers the corners of our society; we all live in a pentagon, a part for each acier. We have a ranking system, that differs every other year; I'll come back to that later.

Our current rankings are black first, red second, turquoise third, green fourth and purple last. Oh, did I forget to tell you why we are sorted?

Several hundred years ago, humans were "normal", they didn't have any abilities over their physically logical ones. Our great ancestors were in a great apocalypse the year of 2025 though, which resulted in their actions to try to find a solution to the problem. They began injecting substances into people, thinking it would make them less reliable of our world's resources. It was failed, kind of. Adults died everywhere, it was the teens to young adults who made it. They began building up the world from the bottom, but with new abilities. Furudate Haruichi was the first leader and decided to sort them into groups. It was for their own safety, but they fought a lot and 70% population of the world passed away; not only from the wars but also the fact that they relied too much on nature and the technology that the adults controlled.
