A TRIP TO THE LOST WORLD. By Platinum B

~CHAPTER TWO:Bitter Truth. ~

After walking for hours, I arrived at a small cabin made of wood beside a flowing river, In front of the cabin were some fire woods that has just been put out,so I bent down and put one hand over the wood and I was warm so I said to myself and Cera,

"Someone must be inside,lets check it out",

I dropped Vera and I walked towards the cabin with the baby dinosaur walking along with me, I knocked the door and it opened with a squeaky sound and Cera hid behind my legs.

  Everywhere was made of rustic wood even the furnitures,as I was admiring the decor, I heard sound and I hid under the nearest table, I held Cera close to me and said a short prayer, the next thing I heard was

"Little girl, come out if there, I won't hurt you", said a man with a friendly voice,

"Thank you sir, I'm Violet and this is Cera, I don't know how I got here, one minute I'm in my garden the next minute I wound up here"

The man laughed and said

"I know who you are, I've heard about you even before you came, It is said that a young girl will deliver this world from..."

I cut in sharply in a frightened and disagreement tone

"WHAT! deliver this world! I just wanna go home to my family, why would it be me? Please where am I? "

The man laughed again and said

"You are in Cretacia,a World of Dinosaurs that was long lost, It suffer the wrath of the T. Rex king, It was said that a young girl will deliver this world from ...Violet... Violet, Hello" he snapped his fingers,

But I was long lost in thoughts that I collapsed.

    When I woke up, I was still on the floor and my violet-coloured hair was full of leaves and Cera was sleeping beside me so I shook my head and the leaves fell off but leaving my hair in a mess and Cera woke up, I looked at Cera and she yawned and I said

"Oh my God, it wasn't a dream",

The man entered from the next room with two cups of tea and he laughed

"It sure wasn't "

I stood up and smiled faintly and said

"Who are you and how did you get here? "

"It's a long story",he said and sat down on the nearest chair and handed me a cup of tea.
So I sat opposite him and listened with interest while I drank my tea slowly.

    "My name is Nelson Jones and I also have a family I wish to return to but I can't until the prophecy is fulfilled,It was a cloudy day, I was planting some unique flowers when I saw my dog chasing something into a bush and I quickly followed it and I landed into a big deep hole and I appeared here, when I got here I met a man and he said a girl named Violet will save this world, since then I've been waiting and waiting until now",

So I asked,
"How long have you been here? ",

"Three months",he replied

"Three months ago, a celebrity went missing " I was surprised and I continued
"Are you Nelson Ronnie Jones, the movie star",
I stared at him waiting for an answer and he replied in an obvious tone

"Yeah, I guess I am",

I jumped up and shook his hand repeatedly

"I am so honoured to meet you, I love all your movies especially 'Tomb caster' ".

       After some minutes of discussion, the ground began to shake and we heard roaring from a distance, I became scared and the next I knew,i saw Nelson bringing a box and he hurriedly said

"Violet, you have to go now, take this map and find the nearest water fall, you'll  see a boat and take it to shady shores,the map will guide all of you to a cave"

"who are 'all of you' ",I asked and he said

"There's no time, take this bag,There is enough food to last before you reach the farm, take Cera and go quick before he comes, you have to go",

I started trembling and a trickle of tears rolled down my cheeks and I passed the back door of the cabin and I ran as fast as I can with small Cera inside the bag on my shoulders, the last thing I heard was shouts, thudding and roaring, until I ran into the forest.
