Erika: "Wait Jake."

He stopped and whipped his body around and said

Jake Pov

I looked at her and said

Jake: "What's up."

Erika: "Thanks."

Jake: "Your welcome."

Than she surprised me by giving me a big hug and stuffing her face in my chest and than she asked

Erika: "Jake where is your brother."

Jake: "Oh with my friend why."

Erika: "Just want to thank him."

Jake: "Why."

Erika: "For some reason I feel like he actually cared about me and I feel really appreciate it over it."

Jake: "He did care about you and honestly he is like me he is someone who loves to help others and goes to them when they are down because our Philosophy is sometimes that one hug and one person asking if you need a hug will put someone face into a smile and now a days we all need those people around."

Erika: "Yes we do I am so thankful for you two you don't understand."

Jake: "I might try me."

Erika: "You know when there are two different people and you wish they where the same person."

Jake: "Yes I do I wish my mom and dad where still here so I picture them as my friends mom and dad."

Erika: "Seriously."

Jake: "Yes when you lose something close to you that was good or thought was good you just wish they where that one person who was good to you."

Erika: "I think you read my mind."

We both laughed and she looked up at me and said

Erika: "You know we've been hugging for a while and I kinda don't want to let go."

I looked down at her and said

Jake: "Don't we can stay here until you feel comfortable letting go."

She smiled up at me and her eyes where sparkling like there is no tomorrow and this makes me really want to kiss her but I know that is too far but what took me by surprise and out of my thoughts is she kissed me but on the cheek she pulled away from my cheek and the hug and said

Erika: "Thanks Jake I don't know what I do without you."

Jake: "Survive you are a trooper."

She smiled at me and that got us distracted for a while until a phone ringing took us out of our staring contest and why's that we both took our phone out of our pocket and looked and i saw it was mine since the captain was calling and I answered and said

Jake: "Hold On."

I muted him and said

Jake: "Hey Erika, I got to take this I be right back."

She nodded I walked away and unmuted him and said

Jake: "Sorry Captain wanted to make sure my guest was ok."

Captain: "Oh ok hopefully they are but anyways I just wanted to see if you where safe in the bunker."

Jake: "Yes Captain I am."

Captain: "Oh good so what happened to that guest of yours."

Jake: "Unfortunately her car was in a ditch and when I drove passed I saw it and pulled over and got out and found them."
