I sat in my room unpacking my bags. My mind was still on Ryder. I couldn't get him out of my mind. He was the guy from the flashbacks. They couldn't be true. I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't. He was so handsome though. His tattoos made him look even sexy. He was so tall and kind but he was a Mafia leader. I don't want to die. All of sudden my bedroom burst open and in walked Jake and Luke.
"What the hell Ruby? I was so scared Ryder had kidnapped you" Jake said bear hugging. I burst out into laughter. Jake pulled back and looked at me worriedly. Jake went back and stood by Luke. They looked at each other then back at me.
"He promised me he would do anything to hurt me. I believe him. Don't worry" I said holding up my tiger stuffed animal. I smiled from ear to ear as I played with its feet. I looked back at Jake and Luke who were nodding their heads.
"You like him" they both said. Did I like Ryder? I couldn't but every time I look at him I get butterflies in my stomach. I have only known him for 1 day but we have so much in common. He is so kind to me though. I couldn't even get him out of my mind. Maybe I did like him a little.
"Maybe," I said as I took off my shoes. I didn't want to get my hopes up. He was the Mafia leader. Most Mafia leaders are man hor's. He probably already has a girlfriend. She is probably white too. I am just a black girl. Why would he fall for me? Luke, Jake, and I talked for a little then we decided it was time for bed but I had work in an hour. It was already 7:00 a.m. I would get there early because I would dance. I jumped up and took a shower. After showering I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I decided to wear a maxi dress set with heels.

I grabbed my bag and phone and made my way down the stairs. I saw Jake and Luke sitting at the island in the kitchen talking about so medical stuff. For some reason, I loved talking about medical things. All of sudden the doorbell rang. I ran and opened the door to see Ryder. I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back as I hugged him tighter. I let go and pulled him inside. He followed me into the kitchen. He sat down by Jake who didn't see him. Jake turned to his right and screamed falling out of the chair. I burst out into laughter as I went and helped him up.
