[ areum placed a hand on his shoulder as she glanced at the pair seated across each other ]

"can we please talk?"

[ sejin sipped on her cola as she watched how uncomfortable beomgyu was in his seat. her heart felt empathy towards the glimmer of sadness in his eyes ]

[ voice starts to crack ]

"no areum, we're done for,"

AREUM
[ stifles a laugh before grabbing his chin to face her ]

BEOMGYU
[ softly pushes her hand away before looking down at his own hands ]

[ grits her teeth angrily ]

SEJIN
[ cuts areum off ]

"I'm sorry but can't you see we're having a meal right now? beomgyu wants you to leave him alone, so leave him be,"

AREUM
[ diverts her attention to sejin and scoffs ]

SEJIN
[ stands up from her seat and chuckles lightly before glaring at areum ]

AREUM
[ crosses her arms and smirks ]

SEJIN
[ cracks her neck slightly before taking a sip of her cola again ]

AREUM
[ chuckles sarcastically ]

[ before areum could continue her sentence, sejin splashes the heavily made up girl with her cola, letting out a contented sigh as she grabbed her belongings ]

SEJIN
[ beams proudly ]

[ areum swung her palm across sejin's cheek but was only held back by beomgyu's grasp ]

sejin turned back to see areum dripping in cola as she was handed the bill for the pair's meal ]
