[walking alongside sejin]

"what do you wanna do?"

SEJIN
[looks up at beomgyu before pulling his arm to follow her]

"follow me,"

[beomgyu smiles as he follows sejin to wherever the hell she wants to go.

frankly, beomgyu didn't care where she was leading him, he just wanted to spend time with the girl]

[sejin looks back at beomgyu with a grin as she leads him to a balcony that overlooks the snowy slopes of Ansan]

SEJIN
[exhales in contentment as she views the pink and blue hues of the sunset]

"ever since we've arrived in Ansan, i found this remote balcony while exploring this resort,"

BEOMGYU
[looks at the sunset as well, a feeling of peace dwelled in his heart]

"it's blue hour,"

SEJIN
[nods her head]

"smart boy,"

BEOMGYU
[faces sejin before looking down at his feet]

"about kissing you in the plane two days ago, i'm really sorry,"

SEJIN
[looks at beomgyu before flashing a grin]

"it was unexpected but thank you for that. i really have a fear of flying,"

BEOMGYU
[faces the view again]

"why me sejin?"

SEJIN
"what do you mean?"

BEOMGYU
[sighs before fidgeting with his bracelet]

"why go to such lengths just to talk to me? you knew me before, why didn't you just approach me in school?"

SEJIN
[bites her bottom lip, her eyebrows furrowed at his sudden question]

"i can't tell you that,"

BEOMGYU
[frowns]

"why not?"

SEJIN
[ignores his question before looking at the view again]

"how about you? are you over areum or are you using me as your rebound?"

[beomgyu ponders for a bit, taken aback at sejin's straightforwardness.

memories of areum came rushing back to him, his mind suddenly in a daze of confusion, anger and sadness again.]

BEOMGYU
"why would you think that way sejin?"

SEJIN
[shrugs]

"because first loves always come back. you were holding yourself back at the café when she refused to leave us alone.

although it's clear we have feelings for each other, i have no idea where i stand in your life.

i don't want to be a rebound beomgyu,"

[beomgyu sighs before approaching sejin from behind, his arms gently encircled around her waist.
sejin tenses as her frown slowly disappears]

BEOMGYU
[nuzzles his head in the crook of her neck]

"i don't know what you see in me sejin, but i was broken boy.

i carry extra baggage and i'm afraid i might fuck up with you.

chenle encouraged me to download that app and i thought he was being crazy.

yet, talking to you? finding your dumbass and finally meeting you made me realise that it really is okay to love again,"

[sejin turns around as she embraces beomgyu in her arms, looking up at him to see his tears rolling down his cheeks]

SEJIN
[cups his face as she wipes his tears]

"i'm sorry for doubting you gyu,"

BEOMGYU
[smiles softly before protectively holding sejin in his embrace]

"i have yet to learn more about you,
madam cha,"

[sejin giggles as pulls away from beomgyu's grasp.

the pair sat cross-legged on the balcony as they watched the sunset, talking about life as well as getting to know more about each other.

sejin felt warmth in her heart for the first time in a while, a feeling of gratitude directed for the boy who finally let her into his life.

yet, she had secrets of her own.
secrets only known by both chenle & jisung.

sejin admired the grinning boy who sat beside her, he who was talking about his future aspirations openly.

a feeling of fear & anxiousness crept in her heart;
