I wake up lani is still sleep so I get up and go brush my teeth shower and change clothes. I go downstairs to make us something to eat. I went simple and made her some pancakes with blueberries and I had a bagel with some Avocado. I go back upstairs and wake lani up and bring her down to eat. I finish up eating and start to clean up the kitchen she finish up and I take her upstairs and put her in the bath I lay out her clothes and mine today we will be passing out invitations to her party. I mailed out some to distant family and I'm gonna deliver to the rest of my family they only stay and hour away but it seems like it's been forever since I've seen them. My brothers and sisters are big kids now and too cool for me. I get lani dressed and then I take a quick shower and get dressed. I leave my hair wet and curly and just add oil. I brush lani up into two puff balls. I grab everything and her then head down to the car. I buckle her in and start the car and then go grab the invitations first stop is the post office I pull up and drop them in the drop box. Then we make the hour drive to my dads house talk with them for awhile and then we go out to lunch I just grab a salad because I'm not really hungry we eat and catch up and then I leave and go to momma Autumns and drop off a card for them they adopted another kid and it really makes me happy. Then I go down to The Restaurant I get kind of nervous I haven't seen them since lanis first birthday we've all just been busy and they had things going on & I'm pretty sure one of them know what's going on right now if not he strong with not telling anyone. I pull up to the parking lot and park and I pull out lani and we head into the door we get in there and I'm walking towards the back and telling Lani to come and this girl walks past and goes you can't go back there employees only I laugh and then Adrians mom comes out and yells MEILANI and she moves a little faster towards her with a smile on her face I haven't seen lani smile that big in a minute her excitement when she sees her grandma let's me know she gives her anything she wants and let's her do whatever she wants. She sits her down and comes and gives me a hug and she says it's been awhile what have you guys been up to? I smile slightly and say nothing much work and planning a birthday party and battling food poisoning. How have you guys been and she says good and then she goes well you can sit in the back if you want Adrians not here yet he should be back soon he just left to pick up some more stuff and I just say oh I wasn't coming to see him I came to bring you guys some invitations for the party & to see you guys. She laughs and goes woah now you must be sick I remember there being a time when you never not wanted to see him before leaving I throw out a slight laugh and say I see him at home all the time then I didn't live with him so I needed all the time in the world. Where's Andrea? She's off today I sigh and say what about Marco or Irene? Irene is upstairs and Marco is either cooking or doing dishes. I say I'll be right back and I go up the stairs to find Irene and I see her serving a table and I wait for her to finish. As soon as she's done I walk up behind her and say ma'am this food is nasty and the look on her face when she turned around I laughed so hard and she smiles and says it's been awhile I've been meaning to set up a play date for the kids to come over and I laugh and say it's fine we've got a lot going on I just came to invite you to Meilani second birthday party. She smiles and says I will most definitely be there with the kids. I tell her bye and that I'll see her later. Now I head towards the kitchen to find Marco. I find him and he's making some kind of scallops dish and I walk up and ask how's Gina and he says she's good and I tell him I left them an invitation to lani party in the office all of a sudden the smell of the cooked scallops hit my nose and I instantly get nauseous and head straight to the bathroom. To make things worse I've got to throw up and I just walked past Adrian. Talk about Awkward I mentally roll my eyes I make it to the bathroom just in time and empty out the salad and sweet tea I just had. I'm just standing there catching my breath and the door opens and I'm like please don't be Adrian please don't be Adrian. All I hear is Jazmyne are you okay I sigh and just say yes I'm fine i think it's food poisoning from that lunch I had earlier. He's silent for a moment I come out and he's just standing there I wash my hands and rinse my mouth with the little bottle of mouth wash out of my bag. He's just looking at me so I turn and look at him and say you need something? He's still silent and goes you know you aren't supposed to be out doing to much and I just think to myself yea like you care and I just say I wasn't I just passed out all the invitations to lani party. He goes well I could have done that for you you didn't have to come all the way back over here just for that when I come to this side of town everyday. I just say in a whisper well I wanted to see them it's been awhile and I wanted to see them before things got awkward because I most definitely won't be coming over here after the divorce because I most definitely don't want to see you I'd like to be free of you while I get myself together. His face changes and he's silent and I say well are we just gonna stand here and argue or we gonna leave so I can go get lani. Can we not make this awkward on the way out. He opens the door and says after you my love and I most definitely cringe and he walks behind me to the back where Lani is. She sees him and says dada and I'm like you acting like you didn't just see him last night. His momma gives me a weird look before asking Adrian to take Lani to go see her papa he agrees and walks off and she goes is everything okay? I smile at her and say yes I'm just tired and the food poisoning isn't working out with me too well. She pauses and says you can talk to me anytime no matter what it is. I smile and say I know thank you but everything is fine. She then smiles and says since you're sick and Adrian has to work you want to leave Lani with us? You can take her to Andrea and I'll pick her up when I leave here. Just for a week please we miss her it's been a minute pictures aren't helping I laugh and say uh of course you can I'll take her over there after I go get some clothes for her. She goes uh no I'll pick her up some clothes. I haven't got to spoil her in a while so I guess we'll go shopping. Tell Adrian he's going to need another closet space for all the stuff I'm buying with a smile. I laugh and say please don't go crazy. I grab my phone off the desk and go find Adrian I tell him that Lani is staying with them and I'm going to drop her off at his sisters I kiss him goodbye and leave. I get to the car and just take in a breath of fresh air. It calmed me down a lot not sure how this is going to work two kids and a divorce I notice lani sleep and I just smile and think to myself it's gonna be okay. I start the car and leave and half way to Andrea's house I had to pull over because now all I think about is a divorce after just wanting to be happy and I just can't stop crying and I feel like I'm gonna have a panic attack I just stop and start breathing and eventually calm down and I wipe my face and get to Andrea's to drop off lani I pull up then get out and unbuckle lani and grab her diaper bag and go knock on the door. Andrea opens the door with a big smile then her face drops a little and she takes lani then she ask if I'm okay that I don't look to good. I say yes and explain to her that I believe I have food poisoning. She gives me the look of yea I don't believe you but ima let it go for now. I give her a slight smile and follow her to the back room where she puts lani down and I say that I'm just gonna sit with her for a little before I go home. I change her into pjs and just lay beside her thinking when Andrea comes in and says are you sure everything is okay you look like you've been crying. You can talk to me if you want to tell me what's going on. I'm silent before I say it's nothing it's just that me and your brother got into about something and it's not sitting well. She just leans over and says it will be okay and I just nod my head and said I don't think so. Then I start crying about the whole situation this baby is making a fool out of me I'm not even sad about the situation anymore. I look at her and say I honestly don't even know why I'm crying it's not that serious. I eventually calm down and just lay there with lani and eventually fall asleep.
