I do not have any social medias, so if I mention twitter, or discord, or anything of the sort, please give me mercy for my lack of knowledge. (Also, y/n will be kinda chill in this story. Not overly emotional, and pretty mature for her age.) I would also like to point an important detail out. Minecraft acts a bit different in this story. It's kinda like enhanced virtual reality, in a way. You have goggles one, and a mask that covers your nose and mouth. You also wear a suit type thing. It applies pressure when your hit. Your basically IN minecraft. You can see, smell, feel, taste, and hear what's going on. Boots and gloves are also included. You can also adjust these settings. Even pain. If your streaming, the chat can basically see in your perspective, or zoom out, like in actual minecraft. Mobs are also a bit smarter.
"And... done." I said, drawing out the word and. I finally was caught up in social studies. I looked over to my night stand, where my phone lay untouched from the past couple of hours. I gave off a curious hum as I leaned over to pick it up. I winced as the bright screen flashed in my eyes before I was able to turn the brightness down. My parents were out of town for a couple of days, so I could stream with some of my friends if I wanted too. I clicked my tongue before scrolling through the many contacts of my phone. I gave off a slight grin when I found the name Emy. I thought for a moment before clicking the call button.
I put the phone up to my ear as an ever-so-boring buzzing filled my ears. On and off it went until I heard a shuffling at the other end of the phone. A loud sigh was heard before a tired voice answered the call, "What is it, it's like." A pause sat there before a surprised, "Huh!" followed. "I guess it's only 9:30."
This was what Emily was like on an average day. "Yeah, you up for some minecraft? I understand if you're too tired. I should have known you'd be sleeping," I trailed off.
"Nah, it's alright. Let me just make some coffee and I can log on. We're you thinking Hypixel or our server?" By her tone of voice I could tell she was already waking up.
"I was thinking our server, if that's alright."
I could practically hear the smile in her voice as she replied, "Sounds good! Ya know, that's what I like about you, y/n. Always think about other people feelings. Ya don't see that a lot where I live!"
I couldn't help but giggle a bit at her statement. I knew she was throwing her older sister and two younger brothers under the bus. It was an on going joke that her siblings were the spawn of the devil, that were swapped with her real siblings at birth. "What happened this time?" I said, amusement clearly showing in my voice.
"Tanya took my favorite necklace without asking! Again!" She continued to babble about horrible siblings for a while. "Man, I wish I had me a brother/sister like yours! He/she is awesome-"
"And very over protective. It's the age gap, I'm telling you. Sometimes a forget I HAVE a sibling." I rolled my eyes as I slipped my boots on. "You almost ready?"
"Yeah, yeah. Just lemme find my gloves. I swear I had them around here somewhere." As Emily continued to look for her gloves, I started up my stream. I wasn't huge, but I'd consider my audience fairly impressive. Just over 1500 subscribers.
"Hey Emy, I'm starting my stream so tell me when your ready." I earned a hum in response, and focused my attention back at my viewers. I flipped my hair back over my shoulder and started talking to the chat. "Hey chat! Today will be another casual stream with our good friend Emy!"
As the viewers started flooding in, a light smile graced my featured. It wasn't a lot but it was enough. "So how is everyone doing today?" I started reading over the answers when one caught my eye. "Not very good? Care to talk about it?" A concerned expression clouded my face as I waited for another reply by their name.
My dog died last night and I've been really bummed.
"I understand your pain. I'm really sorry to hear that, and I hope you do better later! The loss of a loved one can really hurt. When I lost my cat, Duchess, I couldn't stop crying for weeks." I glanced at my screen as people gave their support into the chat. I smiled a bit seeing this. "It really does get better though. I started a YouTube channel after that and look where I am now!"
"Alright, found my stupid gloves!" I laughed a bit hearing Emily's voice fill my ears. "Ready?"
"Yeah, let's get on then." Soon black encased my vision before a blue sky stretched out endlessly before me. I smiled as I glanced over at Emily who was about 100 paces away. She noticed me too and waved before signaling left, into a patch of trees. Cake shop. That's where Emily always went when her siblings got on her nerves. With the power of the high tech suits, we could actually taste cake and be hungry. Of course, it never lasted long and when you left the game you could feel just about starved. But it was comfortable, and I knew that's what she needed. I jogged over to the little stand that had some stalks of sugar cane growing on the side. We also had a small chicken coop off to the side, as well as a cow pen that housed Betty. Betty was out favorite cow, as she was a beautiful muddy red color.
"What flavor? I'm guessing vanilla," Emily spoke gleefully.
"Emy, you really know me." I said as her smile became triumphant.
"Well, you aren't hard to read." She squinted her eyes. "At least when it comes to pastries and food."
This made me snort, and she burst out laughing in return. "Well look at you! Your weird!" She playfully exclaimed.
"And proud!" I said as she handed be a small vanilla cake. "Heck yes!"
After a lot of casual talking and walking, Emily said she had to go watch her snotty little brothers. I gave out a sad protest, and she seemed no happier than myself as she logged off. A sigh escaped me as I started reading out donos from the chat. I had a lot more viewers than usual. Like, alot. There were at least 10000 viewers. "Holy guacamole." I stared at the screen floating in front of me. Plenty of things where running through my mind, but mostly disbelief. As I scrolled through the hundreds of bustling comments I came to one that may have answered why I had so many viewers.

Sorry about your cat.
"Holy... thank you George for the $20! Sweet!" I glanced around before heading back to the main house. I put some of my loot into chests before logging off.

No problem :)
A slight look of surprise crossed your face but you managed to thank him. "Well, sorry to cut the stream a bit short, but I think I'm gonna head to bed now. It's pretty late where I'm at. Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time!" I ended the stream and logged off minecraft. I sat there in the suit for a minute before muttering one word:
Sweet1290 words. Pretty good, I'd say. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, seeing as how George lost his cat a while back. I feel very bad for him, as losing a pet can be pretty tough. I wanted the reader to have something in common with him, so I hope I don't upset anyone. Anyway, that was Chapter one! More stuff will be centered around the SMP later, maybe in the next chapter. I know I've said this before, but I'm not shipping anyone! The story will probably revolve more around Tommy and Tubbo (cause I think their friendship is great, and I haven't seen a lot of good content centered around them.) And the reader is about their age. Thank you for reading!
