"Gee guys how long was I out?" I ask when everyone lets go of me. I scratch my head, "Well I dont know exactly, Einstein, because we've been stuck down here. I would say 45 minutes." Dally says getting back to his spot,
"Golly, what did you all do in that time?" I ask,
"Well we boarded up the window, then talked, and watched you." Soda said, there was something he wasn't telling me, I saw it in his eyes. Then it was awkward silence, no one broke it. Then Dally randomly dropped his cigarettes "God fucking danm it." He said in an angry tone, we all burst out laughing. Then a knock at the cellar door, "ANYONE IN THERE?!" A loud voice calls,
"YES WERE IN HERE!" Darry yells back, the door opens, a police man came down.
"Everyone okay here?"
"Yeah, is the storm over?" Cam asks,
"Yes." He answers we all leap up and run outside, our house was badly damaged. The door came off, things are missing, partial walls missing, and our fence gate was bent. Then we went to everyone's houses, Johnny's house: it was all in a pile of the wood, and his parents, they are dead. He smiled he was almost in tears he was so happy. Then Dally's house, it was like ours, besides the fact his mothers dead and there is a wall just...missing. Then Two-Bits, his almost collapsed but it didn't...yet.
|~*Now we fast forward in 5 or 6 years from then,
Johnny 22, Pony 20, Darry 25, Soda 21, Steve 21, Cam 24, Two-Bit 24, Dally 25*~|
It was the day that I would do this for him, for us. We've been dating for 5 or 6 years now, why haven't I done this before? When I did this I wanted the gang here, Johnny sat right next to me just as planned. I held the small, golden, hoop in my closed hand. When Cam came in she sat by Soda, Johnny went to the WC. I explained everything and the all smiled at me, then he came out and I walked up to him. "Johnny Anthony Cade, I've been thinking about this and it's actually coming together pretty well. Any way can you make me happy," I get down on one knee, "and take my hand in marriage." He looked at me wide eyed and smiled,
"Of course, yes, why wouldn't I?" He says and I stood up and hugged him, Soda and Darry were crying. I slipped the ring on his finger, "Why are you crying?" I ask,
"My little brother is married to another man." Soda says hugging me, and Darry joins in with the hug. Then everyone was in a group hug. "Guys your going to make me cry." I say underneath everyone. ~~~ONE CHAPTER LEFT GUYS!~~~
