ELENA'S POV

  "That one looks amazing, don't you think? It would suit you well Elena.".

Stefan whispered, pointing to a diamond engagement ring in the glass window 

outside the jewelry store.

  "Hey, um sorry to interrupt your love fest here, but may I remind you two that

we are here to help Alaric? The ring's supposed to suit Jenna,.Not Elena." 

Damon squeezed himself between Stefan and I, putting his arm around the both of 

us.

  I struggled out of his arms, sensing that Stefan was frowning at us, things 

had been pretty tense between the two brothers after that morning in my kitchen 

4 weeks ago. But I wish he would stop watching over Damon and I like a hawk, as 

if something would happen between us the second he looked away. I mean, I 

deserve some trust from him, don't I?

  We were waiting for Alaric outside the jewelry store at Mystic Falls Shopping 

Center. Yup, Alaric is going to propose to Jenna!! Sure, they've only known each

other for a few months, and dated for 4 weeks, but it seems to me that they 

can't be more perfect for each other. Alaric have made Jenna happier than I ever

thought she could be, her whole face radiated from joy, and I just can't wait 

to see her expression when she sees the ring. She deserved this more than anyone

else did.

  Damon put his arms back on my shoulders, and turned to smirk at Stefan. 

Great, here we go again.

  "You better put your hands off her." Stefan growled.

  "Or what? You going to hurt your own brother Stefie? Ohhh I'm so scared!!" 

Damon pretended to look terrified, then rolled his eyes annoyingly, shaking his 

head at Stefan. 

  "You heard what I said, keep your hands off her!" Stefan said forcefully this 

time.

  "No."Damon started grinning.

  "Stop this Damon."

  "Never." he pulled me in closer in a iron grip that I could not get out of, 

causing Stefan's voice to go up to a slight yell.

  "I said stop it!"

  "Make me." Damon's grin deepens

  "Damon you-"

  "Hey, calm down. Jeez, I can never trust you guys being together for 5 minutes
