"Portello"

It was the morning of Quidditch.

I had returned to my dorm room ,the night before , much to the celebration of Pansy and Ebony. We had all fell into deep food comas after dancing to Pan's terrible singing , jumping all over our beds and being scolded by patrolling prefects.

I had risen early from my blissfully deep slumber.Having to untangle myself from my sisters.Empty bottles stolen from Professor Faulton's private stash littered all around the room.A smoking ashtray , piled high on the far shelving.

Jeepers had called an emergency meeting with me.An hour before Quidditch was to commence. From our medieval window I could see the curling flags of the Quidditch towers in the distance .Checkered in Raven blue , Gryffindor gold , Snake green and Hufflepuff yellow. The perfect windy weather. With grey storm clouds rolling , crashing with thunder and striking lightning. The morning was darker , barley any light pierced the daunting clouds...

"When the hurly burlys done ,when the battles lost .And won " I chanted.Listening to the wind howl mightily around the ancient castle.I loved storms .They made me feel safe .

Dressing silently in the cold morning I peered at myself in the wicked vanity.

The shock of my outburst had turned my hair a ghastly white once more , just like the very first time .All colour had disappeared from my being.Making me seem ghostly...a dead girl walking.

In support of Ryker i beautified the tips of my hair a deep , royal blue , Ravenclaw blue , before casting a heat spell and using my wand to curl them .I added thick black eyeliner and mascara , painted on my eyebrows and lips , blushed and contoured my cheekbones.
Then added small black hearts in the corners of my eyes .Before picking out a warm , heavy , navy fur coat that shimmered black.Tall , thigh length velvet boots and a corseted black dress.Unlocking my silver jewellery box , I picked out seven silver rings. Two thin serpents with lapis jewelled eyes wound up my middle fingers , a flying eagle on my ring finger , two halves of one symbol on both pinkie fingers and finally I finished off my grand look with a padlocked chain choker.

Now , I looked ready for business , pulling the maned hood over my head , I stuffed my curls into it and sheathed my wand in my boot .And my dagger.I looked bewitching and felt deadly.

Time to wake Jeepers .

The Slytherin boys dorm room was as quiet as a graveyard.Their coffin shaped dorm doors spelled tight shut .Cobwebs decorated their door handles , dust shrouded everything in sight. With the rooms mapped out in rows , it took me some time before I located dorm room four . The rusted number six hanging upside down making it an odd number nine . It rattled as I rasped my knuckles against the wood.

It opened after several slow seconds.Revealing Amethyst , the lead singer of Indigo Children. Her dark , rocker purple hair tumbling past her sharp elbows in messy , unbrushed waves.I raised my eyebrow at her .Lounging against the half opened door.Clad in matching mauve lingerie .She pulled her bra strap back up with a sharp snap .A shard of amethyst dangling from a thin leather strap around her harshly bruised neck. She made no effort to cover them , open mouthed bites scattered all over her slim , vampiric body.Twin stockings , both edged with black lace ruffled around her ankles. Her plum lipstick was smudged across her face , mascara ruined. The arm that held open the coffin lid was illustrated.A full sleeve of living ink.Yes moving , the magic alternative to Muggle tattoos , magic tattoos told the meaning behind them.A crescent moon was howled at by an inked wolf , lurking serpents slithered around her scarred wrist , roses bloomed by her knuckles. Each image a small , moving silent , scene. The largest image was one that read ; Mudblood , it looked as though it had been handwritten , the magic ink drew a line threw it , like an author furiously striking a word from his page. The date 1962 , the date of the Salem witch trials . An unholy cross ...
