It has been five minutes since the gate phone started ringing. It surely was one of the guards on the gate who's on the other line. Our parents made it mandatory that they call here sa main house first before letting guests in the estate to make sure na kilala namin 'yung mga papasok.

Lumabas si Yna mula sa kitchen at gulat na napatingin sa akin na nakahilata lang dito sa sofa at pinakikinggan ang pagtunog ng phone.

I was too lazy to get up and answer it.

Tumigil na sa pagtunog ang phone, a sign that someone picked it up. I heard Yna sighed before she spoke.

"Hello po, is there anything I can do for you?" Sagot ng malambing na boses ni Yna. Napairap ako. Ever the sweet maid talaga.

She listened for a moment from the other line before she spoke again.

"Miss Aouie is still in bed." She said after a moment. English talaga sila mag usap nung guard kasi imported naman 'yun from Australia. Daddy's a little paranoid kaya 'yung mga best guards niya ang naka-assign magbantay sa gate nitong estate. "I'm not sure if I can wake her up but I'll see. Please tell the guest to wait for a moment. I'll get back to you shortly."

I heard a button being pressed, probably to hold the line while Yna fetch Awi. Nang masiguro ko na nakaakyat na si Yna sa taas para gisingin si Rapunzel ay mabilis na bumangon ako. I tilted my head on the side, wondering who could be asking to see Awi in this early Saturday morning.

I stood and made my way to the phone. Inangat ko iyon and pressed the answer button again.

"Hello guard?" Bungad ko sa kabilang linya, the guard immediately answering politely to me. "Who's here for Aouie?"

"A girl named Qwncy, Miss Gold." Sagot ng Australian na guard. Napairap na naman ako. Ginagawa naman dito niyang bruha na 'yan?

Nag-isip ako mabuti, trying to figure out ba't nandito 'yung babaeng kabaligtaran ni Awi ang name. I heard best friends sila because, duh obvious naman ang reason, but really? Even on a Saturday dapat magkita sila? Di pa ba enough 'yung five days a week sila magkita sa EU? Ba't di na lang din siya rito sa estate tumira?

Kaya ayoko masyado ng friends, e. They tend to get clingy like this.

"Let her in." I said. Ewan, I just blurted it out without thinking about what I was saying. Well, nandito na rin naman si consonant girl, ba't di pa papasukin? Maybe I could play with her average brain a little while I wait.

Ibinaba ko na kaagad ang phone bago ako pumunta sa kitchen. I grabbed a wine glass before ko binuksan ang ref. Kinuha ko ang grape juice box at nagsalin ako ng juice sa wine glass, twirling it like a professional wine connoisseur. Bumalik ako sa living room at naupo sa throne ko. It was a chair that literally looked like a throne. This was my chair in this house. Daddy bought it for me for my sixth birthday and until now ay malaki pa rin ito for me.

I waited for Qwncy to arrive. I barely knew the girl but I was bored, so sue me. Basta alam ko na I don't like her. Masyado siya ma-papel sa life namin.

Lalo na kay Silver. She's annoying! Papansin sa kambal ko!

She even spread a fake news about him!

Naubos ko na ang juice kaya inutusan ko ang isa sa mga kasambahay na ikuha ako ng refill. Saktong dating ni Qwncy nang i-abot sa akin ni Ate Ada ang wine glass.

Pinagbuksan ni Ate Ada si Qwncy ng pinto. She shyly thanked Ate Ada before proceeding to the living room where I was. Kitang kita ko na natigilan si Qwncy upon seeing me.
