Chapter 23: The Wedding of the Century

Vlad's Pov 

Today was the big day, Mal and I's wedding. I got dressed in my dress shirt, vest and pants.

I soon check my pocket watch and saw the wedding was in half an hour. I then put on my boots and my coat.

I got in my carriage and once I was in the driver took off for the cathedral.

I made it to the cathedral and made my way to the altar with my stepfather Jonathan Harker as my best man with Ben, Tosh, Alister, Jay, Carlos, Harry, Gil, and Doug as my groomsmen. I stood there waiting for Mal and I was very nervous but then again is every man nervous about their wedding day.

Then the doors opened and everyone stood up as the music played. The flower girls came in and tossed flower petals as Uma, Audrey, Jane, and Lonnie came in followed by Evie who was the maid of honor. Then finally Hades came in with Mal who was wearing the most beautiful wedding dress with flowing stain ,shimmering chiffon, and purple. It was a dress fit for a queen and she was holding a bouquet with a mix of white and purple roses.

She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"You are the most beautiful woman in the world right now Mal." I told her
 
Mal blushed. "Thank you Vlad, you look very handsome."

No Ones Pov.

Mal and Vlad walked to the altar as Hades took his seat. The music stopped as the priest walked up to them.

"Dearly beloved we are gathering here today to join Vladislav Alucard and Mal in holy matrimony." The Priest said.

Mal and Vlad stared at each other with smiles on their faces as Jonathan handed Vlad the rings.

"Well I don't know where to start, but the first thing I'll say is when I first met you I loved you. We've been through good times and bad times. You always put other people's needs before your own. Vlad you stood by us when we came to Auradon for the first time and when hard times came to our lives. Because of that, I am not going anywhere." Mal said to Vlad as she placed the ring on Vlad's ring finger on his left hand.

"That's good to know Mal and I too fell in love with you when we first met. You have always been there for me. You are strong and brave. You were my voice of reason and you gave me the chance to feel human. When my life was getting hard you were the light at the end of the tunnel and you never saw me as a monster. I am going to be with you until they put me in the ground." Vlad replied as he placed the ring on Mal's ring finger on her right hand.

Mal's Pov 

This was the happiest and greatest moment of my life that I am marrying my one true love as we then hold each other's hand.

"Vladislav do take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife to love and care for in sickness and in health till death do you part?" The priest asked Vlad.

"I do." Vlad answered.

"And Mal? Do you take Vladislav to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and care for in sickness and in health till death do you part?" The Priest asked me.

"I do." I answered.

"Then by the powers vested by me I now pronounce you man and wife." The priest said as he turned to Vlad. "You may kiss the bride."

We both leaned into each other and we kissed as everyone clapped. We broke apart as we heard cheers as everyone came to congratulate us.

Then I tossed my bouquet into the crowd of ladies as they tried to catch it but Dizzy caught it. Vlad then removed my garter and threw into the crowd and it was caught by Dima.

We headed outside the cathedral as the villagers threw rice at us. We celebrated our wedding by drinking champagne and eating pieces of Cloudberry Cake with zepherian vanilla bean frosting which was delicious. Jonathan and Evie gave their speeches as we all hit the dance floor. Balkan music was being played as Vlad and I slow danced.

"I love you." I said to him.

"I love you too Mal now and forever." Vlad said to me as we shared a kiss.

Then our carriage arrived it was all white with white roses covering most of it and was pulled by white horses with Stu as the driver. 

We entered the carriage as Evie handed me Shadow and then Zoltan jumped in the carriage. Everyone celebrated as Stu got the horses to move and we waved everyone goodbye. I then turned to Vlad with my light green eyes meeting his brown eyes.

We leaned closer to each other, our eyes closed as we kissed each other. Stu drove us to Castle Dracula I guess you can say we had our Happy Ever After.
